This is another standard AC game with the same old mechanics we are used to, such as: "climb, please climb, NO, I SAID CLIMB UP DON'T JUMP TO THE RIGHT WTF" and "I just wanted to climb down but instead I did a leap of faith without knowing there was one here and now my target got away"

Despite these charming frustrations, Syndicate brings a fun, new, and interesting mechanic to rooftop travel: the grappling hook. And we will probably never see it again because that's how Ubisoft works but to me it made prawling the city so much more fun and efficient. The ledge above you? Zip. That building across the street? Just spiderman that crap.

Other than mechanics, Syndicate takes place in London which, of course, is beautiful and ugly in all of the most human ways. The thing about AC is that even if you don't care for the gameplay you can enjoy the scenery and worlds they build which are surprisingly accurate in design if not scale.

tl;dr I have many gripes about the AC series but I still play them.

I'm not usually into dating sims but this one is bone-in. You may not know what the cluck is going on but it's hot, free, greasy bucket of fun that you will not regret. Don't be a chicken; discover a colonel of truth about your deepest-fried fantasies.
