I started playing this game last night, and managed to tear myself away after an hour. I started up a second round, and have been physically incapable of stopping until my controller died, and I came to add this review and buy all the DLC.
Stole my brain probably, fun as hell: 10/10

This is a gorgeous game that is a ton of fun to enjoy and explore, and I was playing it for months before the Steam release. The monetization is about as predatory as your standard gacha game, but there's no real need to spend any money at all to be able to make your way through the entire game and make a respectable spread of cute and cool outfits.

However, as it stands currently, the game is almost unplayable. The bugs are absolutely everywhere, and range from hilarious visual glitches to frustrating issues with quests and event progress, and the game crashes and/or freezes multiple times a day, without exception.

I recommend this game as a fun exploration/crafting/dressup RPG, but there are tons of bugs, the dev team is inconsistent with their promises, and the game does demand a lot of your time. If you're willing to approach this casually, I think you can enjoy it, but getting invested means you'd better be ready to fork over plenty of cash.

Absolutely remarkable. GOTY without a doubt, and possibly my favorite game of the last decade.

Excellent indie game! Definitely more story than game, but the style is adorable, the soundtrack is fantastic, and the plot is absolutely amazing, though it's a bit slow to start. Definitely something I'd recommend dropping a few hours on!
