Bio:

Name:
Dash Harand

Unit:
160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR) - "Night Stalkers"

Rank:
1st Lieutenant

Background:
Born and raised in Helena, Montana, I grew up surrounded by tales of my grandfather's military service during WWII. As a child, I often dreamt of helicopters, soaring high in the sky, leading him to a deep-seated aspiration to fly. When I turned 18, I enlisted in the U.S. Army, proving my mettle and soon finding my way to flight school.

Education and Training:
Graduated top of my class from the U.S. Army Aviation School.
Trained in high-risk, low-level tactical flight operations, primarily at night.
Specialized in rapid infiltration, exfiltration, and resupply of special operations forces.
Qualified on multiple airframes but excels in piloting the MH-60 Black Hawk.

Assignments:
After graduating from flight school, I served two tours overseas with conventional aviation units. Recognizing my outstanding skill and dedication, my superiors recommended me for a position with the elite 160th SOAR. Following a rigorous selection process and further specialized training, I earned his place among the "Night Stalkers."

Physical Description:
Standing at 6’1", I have a lean but muscular frame, a testament to my rigorous training regimen and discipline. My sharp hazel eyes always assess my surroundings, and my shaved head only adds to my imposing presence. A scar runs down my right cheek, a memento from a close call during a mission in Eastern Europe.

Personality Traits:
Observant: I have an uncanny ability to notice details others might miss, a crucial trait when flying in adverse conditions.
Determined: Once I set my mind to something, there's no swaying me.
Loyal: My loyalty to my crew and my regiment is unwavering.
Calm under Pressure: My ability to maintain a cool head, even in the most intense situations, has saved many lives.

Current Status:
Currently, Dash is stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, where he is involved in training the next generation of SOAR pilots while also being on-call for critical operations worldwide.

"Flying isn't just about the machine and the wind. It's about understanding your limits and pushing just beyond them."
