Its humor is very subtle, and without a good understanding of lexical homonymy, many of its jokes go beyond the comprehension of the typical reader. Fans understand this; they have the intellectual capacity needed to truly understand the depth of these jokes, to understand that they are not just funny - they are saying something profound ABOUT LIFE.
