Really fun game. Too short and left me wanting much more. Cross your fingers for a sequel because the ending certainly leaves room for one.

Análise de acesso antecipado
Excellent wage slavery simulator would sign my right to vote away to an amoral megacorporation again. Never thought Zero-G shipbreaking could be so addicting. Just snip in the right places and it all comes apart. Peel them open and you've got easy access to their guts. Advanced techniques include using controlled decompression to burst ships from the inside for easier disassembly. Pro-tip: The reactor can't melt down if you just rip out the whole containment unit.

Much like its predecessor Pathologic 2 maintains an atmosphere of suffering as you fight your way through the plagued Town-on-Gorkhon. It's not a game for the feint of heart of the weak of will. You will have to make tough choices. From time to time you will decide who lives and who dies, assuming the Sand Pest doesn't choose for you. You'll love gnawing on pemmican and old toast while squatting in an old factory mixing dubious folk remedies for a plague that kills everyone it touches. Do what you can for your first playthrough. You'll struggle just to eat some days, let alone accomplish your objectives. Pathologic 2 is an amazing game: You'll love it and hate it at the same time.

Fun science fantasy 4X game that creates a vivid setting Thankfully it doesn't cling too tightly to pre-existing tropes from franchises like 40k. Instead of orcs there are psionic bugmen that had their Queens genetically lobotomized by sack-bleeders (humans.) Instead of elves there's a faction of all female genetically modified eco-terrorists. Space dwarves are Russian steampunk interstellar mining consortiums. The Vanguard are archetypal human military forces, while the Syndicate feel as if they took a lot of inspiration from the XCOM franchise itself as they are psionic merchant guilds of blue man group that enslave their subordinates.

Other than your race you also choose a Secret Tech which is essentially a character class. Instead of Warrior, Mage, Necromancer, etc. you choose from things like: Promethean, ancient technology that exists solely to PURGE IT IN FLAME. Xenoplague, a biological weapon that grows as you kill units afflicted with a parasitic infection. Synthesis, which allows you to utilize "Daemon" AI programs. The final two are Celestial and Psynumbra which are the Light and Dark side of psionics respectively. (There's also the Heritor Secret Tech from the Revelations DLC but I haven't played that just yet.)

Speaking of XCOM, Planetfall has about as much in common with those games as it does with Civilization. The strategic map is more or less parallel to the XCOM Geoscape and the game creates small tactical maps for your units to fight in when combat is initiated.

Engaging gameplay, fun setting, good worldbuilding, and a long campaign with choices that affect later missions. Check it out if any of that sounds appealing.

Developers have been lying to their consumers about this game for years but we've all sat down and took it because we love Battletech so much. Now the developers lied to Community Pre-Orders for MW5, baited and switched our Steam keys with Epic Games Store exclusivity deal. Don't play their game. Don't buy their stuff.

P.S. This game used to have inverse kinematics on mech legs in the beta but they took it out because it was just too hard for them. That should tell you something.

Devs treat PC players like criminals and second class consumers, no midnight release. Plot is recycled from Injustice: Gods Among Us. Ending is an incredible disappointment with no resolution. Krypt is always online and riddled with microtransactions. Go to Hell Warner Brothers.

First thing's first: This ain't a high budget AAA game so don't expect insane production values or painstaking detail. It doesn't look great, the controls are a little clunky, and enemy movements a little janky. Some of the voice acting is a bit off-target as well and sometimes leaves you wondering whether you're confronting someone about a lie or mind controlling them into telling you the truth. Other than that the game is quite enjoyable as long as you don't mind a whole lot of talking.

A whole lot of talking is a good way of describing this game. Other than move along the plot, talking gives you a better view of the people in London and learning everyones' dirty little secrets has a twofold purpose: Information and Experience. The more you find out about someone the more XP they give if you eat them. Thus in order to maximize the gains you receive for your OM NOM you have to humanize your prey. Things like this are what make or break a vampire game and I think that alone creates an atmosphere of dread and self-exploration. Consequences can be swift and brutal, with individuals in the victim's social circle sometimes ending up Skals, Beast Vampires, or worse.

A piece of advice: If you're going to OM NOM do it without mercy and don't leave stragglers. Eat entire families if you have to. To do otherwise is to invite suffering on the survivors and ruin upon yourself. This is the curse and the choice, the long and dizzying descent into monsterhood as your humanity evaporates and is replaced by the methodical predations of a vampire. The insane calculus of murder drive this game and if you're not feeling uncomfortable with yourself within a few hours you're playing it wrong.
