Mapping to the beat isn't the most polished (at least on Hard & Impossible), and it doesn't help there's a better version of this song that has more unique effects available on the workshop for free. For some reason the Audio on this song is blasted far louder than the base volume of any other songs in the game, so be prepared to lower your sound before playing.

It's worth noting that this, and the other songs, are individually more expensive than the Crypt of the Necrodancer DLC that had 15 Miku songs...

Hi Talkycoder!

Thanks for letting us know about the audio issue with this track! We've just pushed a hotfix to improve it (no more miku audio jumpscare at the start!).

And thank you for taking the time to play and review the DLC. We always appreciate feedback :)

If you think of other feedback / bugs you'd like us to know about asap you can press "ctrl + b" anytime ingame to bring up the feedback window. We read everything that comes through!

€1.99 for a rhythm game map is not expensive. You sound like an osu player tbh

Three of the Miku songs in Crypt were created brand new by Danny Baranowsky for the game (so a lot of effort), and all the other songs had to be adjusted to meet the beat aspect of the game.

I would agree with you if there was anything particularly special effect wise or something about this map, but like said, it's a worse and less flashy version of the one already that was already available on the workshop pre-release.

To be fair, Crypt's Miku DLC was sold ridiculously cheap so it is a somewhat unfair comparison, but £1.69/€1.99/$1.99 per map in Rift is expensive for what we are getting.

These are all good points, except for the last one. There's way more work that goes into a rhythm game chart than putting in a song in Crypt.
