Patch notes haven't been added to steam yet as of writing, but the game has just received another major update that has pretty much ruined the game:

- New sprites for all the food. Sure there's an option to use the classic sprites, but why was this even necessary?

- System of earning points and buying cosmetics removed; All customisables (old & new) are now microtransactions otherwise you now have a very low chance of receiving a random cosmetic after a game. Any points you had prior just sit there, useless.

- New golden retriever pack is double the price ($10) of the last two ($4.99), for the same amount of content.

- New pack is unbalanced and ruins the general balance of the weekly pack which was the only mode keeping the game fresh.

- Health now lasts far longer and you are healed if you are on a loss streak meaning if you had bad RNG and your build sucks, you are now stuck with it forever before being able to start over.

- Game still has the glaring problem where you are instantly countered (far too common and specific to not be deliberate design) if you are either on a win streak or have just upgraded certain pets.

- They added food items that cause the RNG pets to specifically target the holder. This goes for attacks and team buffs, which destroys the whole point of the RNG abilities.

It's a shame because this is such a great game to play in the background and unfortunately with each update balance gets progressively worse. I understand the developer needs to make money, it's just a pity that's clearly the sole focus.
