Yes updates are slow but they do come eventually.
Despite that, the game already has a lot to offer and the core gameplay is complex and good fun once you get the hang of things.

Expect to die often at the beginning, that is (quite literally) part of the game.
You'll get your revenge soon enough :P

Door Kickers 1 was already a crazy good game.
Door Kickers 2 improves on that in every way.

It had some quirks in the beginning but by now they've done a lot of updates and I can't think of anything bad to say about it. Ok maybe the controls can be a bit finnicky sometimes but that is something you'll just have to deal with.

Dwarves, guns, beer, explosives, monsters, gold, beards, co-op, ...

what's not to like?

Let those memories rest, this will only make em worse. Game is a mess now and infested with hackers.

I'd love to recommend this but the controls in the current state are just too bad to be able to enjoy it.

- Player keeps accidentially dropping his gun (have to press the grip button 100% all the way or he will let go... and even if you do it sometimes happens)
- Grabbing equipment is finnicky
- Controller positions for grabbing some things are awkward

As far as the gameplay goes... its fun - for a while, but it certainly could be a lot better.
All entrances are barricaded with plywood... apparently those insect-like badguys with their glowing nvgs do not understand what doors are. Which is a shame because doors would make this game a whole lot more interesting than just plywood all over the place.

Personally I'd also rather not have enemies that glow. And judging by the gun muzzles you sometimes see clipping through walls the AI apparently knows exactly where you are once alerted.


Anyway, the weird controls are what kills it for me. Hope they fix these things so I can give another shot. :/

The new engine is a huge step forward for ArmA. Reforger an impressive teaser of what ArmA4 may bring. The included gamemode is rather cool too.

Well, that's about it though, it's just that, a teaser.
Great if you're an arma fan and just cant wait to try your hands on that new engine.
Also great if you're a modder.

Not so great if you're expecting a replacement for ArmA3.
This isn't that. Not even close.



While I personally don't mind the pricetag (I felt like I owe them a bit more for ArmA3 considering I only payed 24€ for that in the alpha and ended up playing for several thousand hours...), 30€ for this is a bit too steep. Maybe 20€ would've been more reasonable.

I recommend it because I love ArmA and some of these reviews feel a bit harsh. Just, please.... think twice before you spend your money on it.

Still not quite arma level but this little teaser has turned into an actualy decent game now.
