Early Access Review
Played Vampire Survivors and Halls of Torment. Same concept but does their own thing. The meta progressions system is nice. I play on the living room TV with a controller and auto aim enabled. The gun crafting keeps things from getting boring. Map exploration that persists between rounds helps with that too.

Fun side scroller with a teleport gun. Similar to Portal in that physics are taken into consideration when you teleport, specifically momentum. Trying to figure out the puzzles can be fun. I started over once I learned more mechanics because I realized I missed some items. If you see platforms leading you off screen there is usually a reason. A little shorter than I expected but still a very enjoyable game.

I got this game free from Bundle Stars and finally got around to playing it. I really enjoyed the story and the mechanics of the game. While it seemed a bit short there are some extra side quests put in that extend it a bit. The game can probably be finished in under 12 hours. I spent more time doing the side quests and trying to kill every enemy I could find. There are a finite number of enemies in the game so you can only level up so much. Wasn't really a problem as I was able to easily run through the last leg of the game without any trouble. I did consult a guide but you probably don't need to unless you are trying to collect all the spade cards. Don't forget to hit up the arena, I almost missed it. You get some good loot there.

This is a really fun game. All you have to do is don't starve. You go around collecting resources and building up your camp. The mechanics are really well done and easy to pick up. There are some interesting things you find along the way and some references thrown in from geek culture. For instance, if you don't have a fire at night you can be eaten by a Gru. I highly recommend this game.

I picked this game up before Diablo 3 came out. I had played Torchlight 1 for a bit and liked the mechanics. Sadly once Diablo 3 came out this game wasn't played much. I picked it back up a few months ago. It's pretty fun and good for all ages. The only down side is that mobs don't respawn making power leveling not possible. Aside from that the game is still quite enjoyable. A very good dungeon crawler with a decent story.

Been playing TF2 since I got it in Orange Box. Making it a free-to-play game made perfect sense. The man vs machine addition was pretty good. Also being able to customize your loadout is pretty cool. You are able to play the class the way you want to. While I have other games to play, TF2 is my go to game for some instant combat, anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour or more. There have been times when I played a 4 hour session. That happened twice in one weekend (the map had no count down timer). I highly recommend for anyone looking for a decent FPS and doesn't mind the cartoonish look. I think it actually makes the game more fun; and good for most ages.

I'm really enjoying this game. Played a lot at first but giving myself some break as I've been leveling. You will die a lot at first until you level yourself up with better gear and stats. It's a side scoller with a randomly genereted castle. It makes the constant dying not so bad. Each time you die you continue as one of your descendents and start at the castle entrance but you keep all your gear and stats. The game scales with you so while you can stay alive longer it's still challenging. At times it will seem as if the castle is screwing with you. There are hidden areas to find and special items that will do helpful, and sometimes hurtful, things. Overall a fun, casual game that seems to have hours of playability. I highly recommend. One of my favorite purchases during Steams Winter Sale.

I found this game to be very entertaining. First play through was about 4 hours broken into 2 sessions. You have several characters to choose from and you pick 3 to go into the cave. Looks like certain areas are blocked off if you don't have the right person in your party. The narrator, the Cave, is pretty funny at times. The puzzle solving portion is pretty good. There were only a few parts that I had to look up. Overall I really enjoyed the game. Highly recommend.

Fun little side scroller. You dig, find gems and cash them in back at town to buy better gear. You find upgrades along the way to help you dig as you go deeper into touger rock. The story was pretty good and suitable for all ages.
