Well after playing this game for a week straight I have to say that it provides pretty much everything rogue-like players crave. Broken builds, Rich story, and those FAT DMG Numbers! so would I recommend this game to pretty much anyone? Yes, just get comfortable with dying as it moves the plot forward. best game I've played so far this year easily.

While the game is great and totally refreshing, Necropolis falls short of what makes a good game GREAT. It was an amazing premise and had its own spunk and sort of dark humor that we all love. What makes me not want to recommend this at full retail price is that while the game is fun, Once you beat the game. Thats pretty much it. Of course if you wanna experiment with different builds on the abysmal two character class choices then by all means give it another go. That being said this game was released at a lower price because the developer wanted to give us a work in progress at a fair deal. Only problem with that is, its completely abandoned by the developer and the last thing put into this game was a hotfix near the end of last year. I loved Necropolis dearly on my first playthrough but often found myself constantly having to use the flame thrower ranged weapon since most weapons do piss all for damage after the 5th floor or so. Trust me youll end up realizing this. So long story short, Necropolis is an amazing rogue-like RPG Dungeon crawler game that has been all but forgotten by its developer and isnt worth the full price that it is. if its on sale by all means give it a go but until then try and hang on because I dont want you being as heartbroken as I was.
