The Definition of a perfect game

Now I know what you're thinking: "A perfect game? Really Mouse? You think this is a perfect game?" And to that I say, Yes!

The combat feels funky fresh whereby you have to hit enemies to the beat of whatever song is playing in a level, the looks and details give off PS2 era love and attention to details, the game is STILL getting new content a whole year after its release and even if the new content doesn't give you a reason to come back to it, the gameplay loop is just top notch.

A main complaint I see about this game is that the characters are "Too Annoying" or they're "Le Epic Cringe" for a game made in this current decade. The thing is though, the reason the characters are the way they are is that the whole vibe of the game is to not take it seriously. I mean come on. You have a guy running around beating robots with a makeshift guitar made out of scrap metal and you expect me to take it seriously? No! And that's why the characters work so well for me. They're not meant to be taken seriously and even the characters in the game know this. And that's why it works! Everyone from Robbie Daymond to Erica Lindbeck to God mother f**king ROGER CRAIG SMITH did a fantastic job in bringing these characters to life with their witty personalities and A+ voice acting.

I love this game with all my heart and it showed me that games don't need to be hyper realistic to be good. Sure graphics are important. If you're intending to emphasise emotion then you obviously need to have the characters look semi decent. But the gameplay, the additional end game content, the replayability of this game has shown me that not everything is about graphics and if the game is just down to Earth and fun, then you have a perfect game of fun high octane action

If you've been holding off playing this game and you've come across this review, let this be the one to help push you over the metaphorical edge in buying this game. You will not regret it.
