The downsides of this game are clearly visible from the steam page + demo so instead I'll focus on the upsides that aren't immediately obvious such as:
- The game features A LOT of difficulties. They're also doubling as game modes with each offering another twist on the run!
- A lot of maps feature an optional puzzle. The demo has only one or two but the main game has many more. They really add something to the game by making it so that you not only want to win; You'll want to win in a specific way!
- The main game is leagues ahead of the demo in terms of balance & features. It doesn't fix any of the UI issues etc. but the overall game is just much better
- There are a lot of new events & cards. They advertise this but you don't really feel it until you have the chance to start really unlocking them. The demo feels like a "final build" in some games but here things get so much more extreme!

There is one downside that you don't notice until you upgrade:
- All progression in the demo is lost so the first run, you'll be stuck doing the tutorial again.

Random misc downside:
- There are no credits?

I really struggle to put the game down so I highly recommend it!

A great game! The choices REALLY change the story which was a surprise to me. Sometimes it felt a bit too "progressively American." Like big "remove all cops" vibes that you see on Bluesky a lot. That's not to say I don't agree with what's on display: I do! It's just that I'm not from that part of the world so it's weird to see 'bluesky vibes' in my game :P It's to the point that it sometimes takes me out of the game a little.

ok but that almost sounds negative and, really, I don't mean to be! The choices are great and some of the moments really hit hard.

Vanessa fulfils the premise of the game. It feels like you're "just browsing" until, suddenly, you see that busted build.

Interesting and experimental. I wish the game did a little more world building. I would've some more dialogue about the people of the kingdom. I did enjoy that we just fall down at the end. It felt correct somehow. Just like the other reviews pointed out: It's not really a game and it lasts a very short time.

A surprisingly good game??
The game has a few issues (visuals sometimes bug out) and it suffers a bit from taking to much time before it starts showing you cool new toys to play with HOWEVER, I highly recommend you try to win the first round if you like the game but wish there were more (interesting) items as those will be unlocked slowly after each successful run!
Additionally, add a "wash faster" option please xD

An experimental game that feels a surprising amount like fishing minigames in a lot of games in that it takes -just- enough attention to force you to keep it visible but not enough attention in that it allows you to commit to doing something else. And, of course, like many fishing minigames you never know exactly when something will happen.
I'd say this is for the people that always wanted a ranked version of a fishing minigame???

Solid game with decent controls. The challenges remain fairly easy throughout the game so no need to worry that things get too complex. I liked the sections behind waterfalls & caves. It was fun to see how there were collectibles everywhere!
I wish they'd give a popup on how many / how many I currently have and I had hoped that all the achievements worked :( I did fully complete the game but unfortunately both achievements for collecting everything seem broken!

Overall really worth playing even if you don't collect everything. The world feels interesting and there are lots of moments where you explore and get rewarded for doing so.

The game you didn't play but should have. There's so much to talk about yet you'll have a hard time finding anyone to talk to. Players of this game are as rare as the palace yet once you play you can't forget the game. There's just something about it.

I never review. Let this be a warning as someone who gets absolutely obsessed with hard games.
This game is hard.
Very hard.
Very. Hard.

The game is easy to understand and this means that each time you die, you, the player, are at fault. It was your lacking skill that made you lose the game. Not that there's the option of winning to begin with. You see, this game is about surviving waves of skulls of various kinds.
It uses sound cues to inform you of their position and you will dispose of them using some very simple attacks and scarily tight controls. If you fail you die and have to restart all the way from the beginning.

I have currently survived 300~ seconds and have played this game for over 24 hours. Each round only lasts a few seconds so its easy to pick it up and play 'one more time'.
If you have any money left or plan to buy something cheap for tonight make it this one. Its a good one - I promise.

I love this game.

Fast phased gameplay that forces split second decisions. This game is all about fighting each other in a small arena to the death using one character from a colorful and diverse cast op characters.
The free to play aspect is set up in such a way that the game will be enjoyable to both free and paying players, with some of the heavy payers boosting those who dont during matches.
