So far my experience trying to play with my friends, you know, something that was HEAVILY advertised as a co-op game, is FINDING SERVER with a black screen. I can't ESC out, I can't access a menu, I am forced to ALT+4 out and restart.

Our time zones and dates are the same.

No one has a VPN turned on.

I can't just disabled crossplay because he's on console, and you can't turn crossplay back on while in game, you have to be in the main title menu.

I bought this game to play with my friends. I managed to get the first mission done with him, when the game bugged out again during the next loading screen. Hard to recommend this, in this state.

I was hoping that after several years, maybe this game would be playable, without massive game breaking bugs, freezes, save file corruption and crashes.

I was wrong.

After downloading several different mods to fix the game, it has become stable enough to play and finish quests. I still need to sometimes use console commands to finish a bugged quest, or spawn a bugged item, but the game is at least playable.

When the community works together, good things can happen. Outstanding Victory Helldiver.

I love Democracy.

There is something to be said about a survival game, where you don't have to worry about monsters or other people. It's just you, and this planet devoid of any life, (for now).
The process of collecting, exploring, building and upgrading isn't that bad, and there's a fairly intriguing story line to keep you exploring a bit more... stretch that oxygen out a little more...
There's a sense of quiet accomplishment when you realized your harsh red planet now has blue sky, and some of the craters and valleys are filling with water.
Planet Crafter has it's issues for sure, some weird spots where you can see a resource but not collect it, etc. Nothing game breaking (that I have found) and nothing that ruins the core game play. This game a very chill, very calming and even a bit anti-anxiety!
I can't wait until 1.0 is released, and I'm happy to have found this new game.

Ever since I first played games like Left 4 Dead with my friends, we always wanted that style of game in the 40K Universe. Vermintide came damn close, but it just didn't scratch that Grimdark itch.

Darktide has finally scratched that itch.

I love the immersion and lore that can be found in the game and throughout the beautifully done levels. A lot of the assets you see being used as terrain is some of the very same kits you can put together for use on the tabletop. Lots of small details, but very cleverly done and added in for a great immersive feel.

The game does have it's bugs and glitches, but overall I keep coming back for more, and keep trying to get more and more of my friends to play. The most important things for me when playing games are: Am I having fun? And, am I getting my monies worth?

I would answer yes to both of those questions, and unless something drastically changes, I'm going to keep coming back to play in my favorite dystopian sci-fi nightmare universe that is Warhammer 40k.

I would only really recommend this game if you had some friends to play with, or you're okay with using some less then ideal LFG finders for end game content.

The gun play looks, feels and just is awesome. Some of the best in any FPS game I have ever played. The powers are fun to use and experiment on, but can definitely be confusing and a pain in the butt sometimes to keep track of. The story lines, lore in general, voice acting and questing is all top notch. The newest expansion, The Witch Queen is just AWESOME. (weapon crafting aside, anyways.)

Biggest draw backs for me: I hate PvP. I just don't like playing it, or having to grind stuff for it. I know some people really enjoy PvP, and that's fine! Destiny 2 can provide some great experiences to a lot of different player bases. BUT, I get SO. MAD. that some of my exotic quests REQUIRE me to complete some ludicrous achievements in Crucible and/or Gambit, and it just absolutely kills any desire I have to complete the quest or even play.

But, I keep coming back for more. Even if I only play PvE and end game raiding sometimes, it's still a really enjoyable and rewarding experience with my friends and clan mates.

It's hard to explain, but this game for me, right now, is relaxing, calming and just cathartic.

The lighting, music and sound effects are downright amazing for a game of this size, and I love the attention put into the sound effects such as trees being chopped down.

Being able to play a survival game, without always being punished for lack of food, drink, shelter, is a nice change of pace. If I want to be stronger, and have more stamina, I can take the time to gather, cook and consume food. If I don't care, then I'm not punished for it.

The ability to play on a server with 9 of your friends, and gather, build, fight, and explore together is amazing. I like that when I log off, I don't have to worry about some stranger coming and destroying my stuff and stealing everything I've saved.

As of now, my friends and I are hunting with a Longship and targetting sea monsters, harpooning them, and dragging them back to sure for the quick kill and more importantly to gather the loot it drops. It's an amazing experience, working with one another and trying to accomplish a single task together, without worrying about another ship coming over the horizon to sink us.

I have never sunk so many hours into a game, as fast as I have with Valheim. And there are still things bringing me back to play everyday, from trying new building ideas, exploring new continents, or gathering some more supplies for our next boss fight.

Valheim is an exceptional game, and I'm excited to see where it goes in the future. For $20 I have more than gotten my monies worth. I highly recommend you picking this up, especially with some friends, and give it a shot.

For honesty's sake, here are some issues I've encountered.
Our first server we hosted, crashed and wiped all the progress on our map. While our characters and their inventories weren't effected, we lost everything we built and explored on the map.

Finding your server can be a process, and sometimes won't show at all in the in-games server listing. I eventually used the Steam interface to add the IP to my favorite servers, so I can simply click a few times to join.

Even with these issues, it hasn't stopped me from playing, especially considering it's still in pre-release.

One of the best co-op shooters out there. Content updates have kept me coming back for more, since I first started playing in pre-release.

It's also got a pretty awesome soundtrack!

Honestly, I have nothing bad to say about this game.

Probably one of the best Free To Play Isometric "Dungeon Crawlers" out there. From art style, lore, fluff, level design, you name it, Path of Exile knocks it out of the park.

The best part about this game? You don't have to spend a single $1 to play the game, but you can still enjoy the game as a whole. From what I have seen, most of the Microtransactions are cosmetic upgrades as well as account upgrades (more character slots, more bank slots, etc.) No Pay To Win in this game.

Very buggy and hard to play because of unresponsive controls.
