The combat definitely embodies the old saying of "Easy to use, hard to master" - and it makes it super fun!

This is the Tekken game that revitalized the series and inspired its continuation. As a teenager, opening this game on my PS4 brought a tear to my eye. The melancholic piano melody in the Solitude soundtrack together with intervowen clips of the Mishima family's struggles in the menu's background hit hard. A true artwork in my eyes.

From a competitive standpoint, I adore Tekken 7 for its tense neutral play and the range of playstyles that the game allows. I've played this game with strangers online and with friends back in my university days. It was never not a blast!

This game is an experience that takes you back to simpler times. BRC's OST is fantastic and I listen to it all the time.
Highly recommended.

I recognize that there's controversy on whether this game is fun. I find it mediocre - especially compared to the beta.
This "released" version of Multiversus is way less responsive than its beta counterpart so it never quite feels like my character is doing what I want it to do.

The game's monetization greatly affects its user interface which feels bloated and confusing. Menus never provide you with the options you need, and 80% of the UI is dedicated to reward tracks and missions to coax you into FOMO so you will spend money in the long run. To add to this...

...there was never, and still isn't, a need to "claim" a reward: it's a redundant choice! You would never not want to claim your reward. It's only purpose is to condition you into wanting to "claim" more in-game items i.e. purchase and spend money on in-game stuff.

This game was, like many other high-profile games, consumed by corporate greed at the expense of its player base.
Quite ironic given the developer's name.

Narratively and visually, this game excels - but the fighting is too focused on playing aggressively. It has a lot of new ideas and mechanics, and it iS MESSING THE TEKKEN FORMULA UP!

Forget about playing this game on controller.
The fundamental counter mechanic cannot be activated with the default input (L2+R2).
Disappointing.

This rhythm game is unbelievably good.
You feel the groove of almost every song to the point where you can't decide whether to focus on the game or start bopping your head to these sick tracks. Either way, YOU WILL BE IN THE ZONE!
It has become a replacement for the hole that Rocket League left in me after almost 2.000 hours.

Become one with songs today!

Looks cool but is ultimately a lesser version of what NFS Heat was.
