The best battle royale to ever come out, being a day 1 player back in season 0 I've already put in over 1k hours in to it on origin and am glad i can finally play it on steam for another 1000hrs, no reason not to try it out now that it's on steam if you haven't already. All of the legends are useful in different ways (with like 2 exceptions) and for the most part respawn has been doing an amazing job in bringing new content to the game as well as trying to keep it fresh and balance the experience, another big plus is that movement plays a big part in apex being that it's a nerfed version of TitanFall2's movement which is possibly the best flowing movement in any game, there is a lot of tech to learn and you can always get better!

Most definitely recommend giving it a go if you haven't already, it is Free to play afterall!

One thing though. Just don't play wraith or you're dead to me, literally most overrated and overplayed legend with the most toxic of players attached to the character.

Edit: I still stand by everything I've said in this review but what is happening with the battle pass is not ok, this really pains me to see being a day 1 player and all, Respawn, you've made mistakes in the past with decisions and I've forgiven you, but this battle pass change is disappointing and outright disgusting to me and many others who love the game that you've created, and not only that, but then trying to bargain with the community by only slightly changing it is just scummy, so if you really care about the community and longevity of this game you'll revert the battle pass system back to it's prior far better state.

Edit 2: They sorta fixed the battle pass and made the challenges easier as well as getting 10 lvls compensation not exactly what i was hoping for but I'll take it as i know they aren't going to do a full revert, we will just have to wait and see what happens by mid season

Ofc i'm going to recommend this, as somebody who played the original games on Newgrounds many years back i'm so happy to see them remade and with a new game to the series that give a more conclusive ending or well multiple conclusive endings with even more wacky options and references, Looking at these games side by side to the originals you can see the improvements in animation and backgrounds etc. If you remember the originals or have heard of them i highly recommend picking this up. It's not a long set of games took me almost 7 hours to complete 100% without any guides ( but i knew most of the achievements from the originals anyways), If you are going to play this, please don't look for guides it will ruin the game for you and you'll get more out of it by not using them.
The only issue i had was 2 or 3 random crashes while playing (unknown reason why) but that's not a problem as it's quick to boot back up anyways.

Buy it an experience it for yourself!

It's alright but as someone who used to play and still owns all the original PS1 Tomb Raider games i'd much rather just play the original over this any day, the new mechanics don't add much but tedium such as all the extra stuff you have to do in lost valley and the QTEs make a lot of encounters meaningless, once again like the Tyrannosaurus Rex in lost valley just doesn't feel like a threat at all in this version. I would probably like this more if it was just the original PS1 gem with just a new coat of paint and less clunky controls but in some cases this game actually feels more clunky compared to the tank controlling original which baffles me..

It's spyro, it's fun.

Playing through the original Spyro in great looking HD graphical Quality is a very nostalgic thing for me having played the original trilogy years ago and still own them all as well as my PS1.

Spyro at it's core is a collectathon with some simple puzzle platforming and just general platforming, seeing many people complain about repetitive gameplay are just not the target audience for this trilogy remake.

Everything feels good; the movement (- a couple jumps seeming more difficult in the remake to the originals) flying feels much better and easier to control than the original, the graphics look stunning and Toys for Bob nailed the cartoony look that fits Spyro, the music is a faithful recreation of the original soundtracks, however i had the original on for my playthrough.

For people like myself who played the originals should be happy to know that nothing is in a different place from the originals such as Treetops still being a fun charge ramp jump chain to get out of reach gems. Overall i have enjoyed my time playing The Reignited trilogy so far and am glad that this came out! Now all we need is a new Spyro game that stays faithful to the original trilogy and isn't like Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly.. Or maybe even a remake of Croc: Legend of the Gobbos, the only retro 3D platformer other than Spyro and Crash that has been remade.

I 100% recommend this game to people who played the original trilogy, but also recommend it to people who like 3D platformers and games with collectathon aspects.

Not balanced and skill based matchmaking sucks but decent game

Honestly adore this game. it has great quick combat that takes skill to get the hang of, fun and well executed parkour mechanics even though the story of the game is not amazing the graphics are pretty decent and with all of the communities various content from new characters, map and mods such as flying the game can be fun for hours. Especially with the ability to easily create your own levels with the in game editor as well as the addictive arena mode.

Edit: now have just over 100 Hours in this game which is in part by community made maps and mods, spend most my time on parkour maps, making stupid scenario maps with the editor or mainly playing community made arena maps. With the edition of Therium 2 being added as a official campaign to the game (originally fan made story).

Obviously this game isn't for everyone and many people may not be able to squeeze as much enjoyment out of this game as i and many others have, however even after doing everything you can in the game (mods included) it can be a really good time killer if you have nothing better to do or you are waiting for something or someone,

Still recommend the hell out of this game for bringing me hours of entertainment.

I Have put many hours in to this game since i started 4 weeks ago and i have to say this is the best F2P game on steam.
it has the graphics of a AAA title as well as having fun combat and parkour mechanics that keep making me want to play more.

It is definitely worth your time to sink in to, to get your hands on the many different unique warframes and weapons, along with the mod system which can make even the worst of weapons (damage wise) amazing to use.

As well as all of this the game is geting many updates and love from it's developers!

100% recommend this game for the low price of FREE.
