Synopsis:
If there was ever a game that needed a sequel - this would be it. A love child created from past Fallout employees - this is easily a top 10 RPG for me. You get near limitless freedom with how you want to create your character and there are several factors in the development that will have lasting affects on the game. Want to have a magick vs technology focused character? Good versus Evil? Solo or an army of followers? The game leaves it all up to you. The story is great and the character interactions can be sad, uplifting or even down right hilarious. If you are an RPG fan in any capacity you owe it to yourself to buy this game.

Synopsis:
What a wacky BR! The fact that this started out as an april fools joke and has somehow continued to deliver is a testament to how great this game is. The physics are wacky, the weapons and attachments are insane, and the customization on your character is just as silly. Will it suck you in like Apex, Warzone or Fortnite? Probably not. But as a fun weekend killer with some buddies - this is an absolute thrill.

Synopsis:
This is simply one of the best survival zombie games available for replayability (especially with friends) and immersion. This is not a game for someone who wants quick event after quick event. This is a slow, grindy, and extremely rewarding game that doesn't really ask IF you can survive, but instead HOW LONG will you? The end game is you dying - period, but the process and adventure you'll go through is an utter joy for zombie and realism enthusiasts. You start off designing your guy, either manually or based off of templates and then the game sets you free to do whatever you want to do. Want to learn tailoring? Sure! Farming? Have at it! Mechanics to repair cars? Enjoy! Carpentry to enhance your stronghold? Why not! Every time you enhance your character you'll get more and more attached to the inevitable, but again that entire process is what makes it fun. Now throw in a friend, or even a group, and watch the dynamic change as you each pick classes and try to defend your base from the horde. S-I-M-P-L-Y A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!

Synopsis:
Very much the same as the first game, so it has nearly the same marks for the same reasons. The game is very long and the hardness, while higher than the last game, isn't something you'll be smashing controllers over. The violence and innovation has been slightly amped up, but at its core it is very much the same game. Again, this is one to buy when its on sale.

Synopsis:
Holy balls. Is this a tough game? No. Is this a long game? No at all. Is it still crazy fun? Most definitely. The total run time of this game is less than 5 hours, but the replayability of the situations make it feel a lot longer than it is. Check this one out when its on sale.

Synopsis:
Want to feel what it would be like to give a giant middle finger to the world? This is the game for you. The story is pretty much non-existent - you are a guy who is fed up with the status-quo and you will stop at nothing to lay waste to everything and everyone in your way. Once the novelty/shock wears off the game will get pretty repetitive and boring, so you'll probably want to snag this one when its on sale.

Synopsis:
Talk about a game that doesn't take itself seriously! The idea of the game, in its most basic form, is to get from point A to point B as intact as possible. In the early levels, this is very easy to do, but once you start to unlock the real meat and potatoes of the game it becomes super hard, but super fun. You will be laughing non-stop as you see the type of situations your character ends up in, but replayability is on the short end for this one -- yes you can try to replay levels as another "character", but overall once you beat a level you aren't likely to come back.

Synopsis:
The 5th installment in the long living Grand Theft Auto series. For the first time you are controlling the perspective of not just one character, but three. From an innovation standpoint there isn't much setting this game off from the previous installments; you get a little bit more control over your character's customization, but largely the game stays the same. Multiplayer can be both amazing and extremely frustrating. It's an absolute thrill to play with your buddies, but you have to deal with the occasional hacker or high level P2W character having some insane advantage like nearly indestructible vehicles. Obviously there is a reason this game is still so popular even with those shortcomings - it's insanely fun to just lose yourself in the environment and experience a near-living city. Hopefully Rockstar starts to make some movement on GTA6, but theres still enough movement on this game to recommend it.

Synopsis: You are a normal citizen who gets dragged in to a massive alien invasion. Eventually you join the EDF and help fight said aliens and try to reclaim the Earth. This is a game series that has never taken itself too seriously and it's wonderful. The game features several different classes to choose from and a ton of "weapons" you can find/upgrade. The story and graphics are nothing to write home about, but that's not the focus. The game is basically a 3-D bullet-hell mode come to life. You will be facing waves and waves of gigantic creatures (usually based off insects) all the while trying desperately to manage your health and keeping your squad alive. The game really opens up on the harder difficulties and multiplayer.

Synopsis: You create a custom character and go about trying to "save the world" from various bosses and the ever stretching crimson or corruption biome. While many simply explain Terraria as 2D Mincecraft, its actually a lot deeper than that. Sure it's got the typical things, like pets, weapons and armor, but there's a lot more to the game. Your followers have a hidden attribute that rates how much they like you and the area they live (including neighbors) which will impact what they say in the game and the items they might offer for sale. The game has a pre-hardcore mode, which has weaker enemies and allows your character time to develop and then when you beat a certain boss you unlock hardcore mode, which enhances all the enemies, unlocks new biomes and enemy types, and features way harder bosses. The only real place this game lacks is a true "story". Sure you find out the lore of the game and bosses through interactions with your followers, but there's no real story driving you from one point of the game to the next. Luckily, the developers keep on developing this game and there doesn't appear to be any sign of stopping soon.
