Resident Evil is a great game, so this is not a review of the story or the gameplay.

This version of the game breaks a lot. I bought it for my Twitch stream, and multiple times on stream I've had the game freeze in a way that forces me to restart my computer. The game will totally stop and I will lose control of my mouse. The only solution is to restart my PC. I have not found any consistent way to replicate this issue, it just happens, and once it happens I have not found a way to fix it that does not involve a total reboot, which is very unfortunate when I'm trying to stream it. My plan is to just brute force through the rest of the game, but I cannot in good faith recommend it, at least to anyone who also wants to stream it.

The game is also limited to some relatively outdated graphics settings that other reviewers have described. It frankly doesn't bother me, but I understand that's a deal breaker for some people.

I absolute adore this game, tbh. The characters alone are a reason to play, but the story is super fun, and it's a great step into the Danganronpa world.

This game is horrible.
