It's a good game, but it definitely has a lot of room to grow. Key things paradox could improve:
1. The UI needs a lot of work. The trade route window in particular is awful.
2. Warfare could use more depth. I like the core of the system in V3 which removes manually moving troops, but it still needs more variety and available orders/tactics than it currently has.
3. More country specific "missions" would go a long way towards helping different countries feel unique.

All of these things I expect will be addressed with patches/DLC down the line. Buy it now if you're a fan of the type of gameplay or time period, but if you're on the fence wait for Paradox to add a bit more to it. As it stands it a good start to what could be an excellent game eventually.
