Super fun game that lets you screw over your friends. Great party game

(Update: a workaround for the controller issue exists - plug in the controller after launching the game. Then the default mapping works as intended, and you can enjoy the much-improved handling. Given the number of other issues that people are experiencing I'd still hold fast for a while if you're not willing to risk it, but the game itself is really enjoyable when it all works fine)

Well, the launch of F1 2015 has been somewhat disasterous. Every platform has had major bugs, none more than PC. Issues with controls, instability, FPS drops, derpy AI...

Thankfully, a couple of patches have already released, which fixed some of the crashes and problems with gamepads. The gamepad issue is game-breaking for me - the default controller mapping leaves the brakes locked on, and remapping them leaves no deadzone, making the car difficult to control.

The game shows a lot of promise - the AI are far more aggressive than earlier games, and the graphics are pretty. Unfortunately in its current state it's nigh on impossible to play, and I cannot recommend it until Codemasters fixes the major issues.
