This might be the most atmospheric game I've ever played. Adore it.

This is actually kind of a blast???

I'll be real, I held off for a bit assuming it was another basic warframe knock off, or something along those lines.

Instead, I kind of see it as a Fallout 76 x death stranding, with a better MMO-lite vibe to it (and a chat box!).
The building is a lot of fun, the combat is pretty fun, the fact there are vehicles is a good time. It reminds me of an old MMO like "Fallen Earth". The Map is absolutely MASSIVE. I played for 5 hours with a friend, I think we got about 1 inch.

Its got it's problems, sometimes controls can feel a little wonky and some mechanics feel a little slow. But overall, if you're in the survival/MMO genre feelin. This is not a bad pick by any means. I'm here for it.

I'll preface this, sayin that I'm one of the few that havent had any performance issues. FPS dips a bit in cities, but It's no slideshow by any means.

The game is honestly a blast. It has a fromsoft feel to it (mostly with the menus), while the combat is different and fairly fresh. I think the pawn system is so so cool, and I love swapping them up as I travel and meeting new "people" to bring along.

The exploration is so much fun, and not fast traveling is honestly so refreshing (Even though I certainly have the option to). Due to other reviews, and the steam page ofc, I know there are microtransactions. but so far, IN GAME I've never seen the option to buy anything (thankfully).
From the way other reviews were written, it made it sound like there was ads anytime something happened asking me to pay for a revive of something, but there is nothing of the sort.

Overall, so far the game is phenomenal, big monster fights are a blast, and the exploration is on par with other greats in the genre. I honestly recommend this game to anyone that enjoys fantasy RPGs. It's a unique mix of Darksouls, Skyrim, and monster hunter.

Ima make the normal comparison here, obviously, Palworld vs Enshrouded (Even though they're kind of different categories). I enjoy both, Im not gonna lie.

However, Palworld is a clone. It clones a lot of things. BotW, Pokemon, Other stuff. It crunches all of those mechanics together into something that does infact work, and it does pretty alright at that.

Enshrouded, however, is its own thing. There's actual creativity and thought here. There's passion and design in this game. Enshrouded is the type of game that I think we all want to see made, and succeed. I'd suggest picking this up, it's a blast.

A short* review of starfield
I guess coming into this game, there was things I'd have loved; but also things I expected. This game, Starfield, Ended up being generally what I expected. Yet It's still absolutely a 10/10 for me. But let me break that down a smidge.

The game is a lot of fun, if you're a fan of bethesda's previous titles. Mind you, it does have some stuff that brings it down.
There is a ton of inventory management, more so than other titles. This game is more forgiving with encumberance - - But you're also almost always encumbered.
Inventory management is made a smidge more difficult by the menu system. the menus arnt bad, but I do think they take a minute to learn.

The game is also a fairly slow start. I think I spent 2 hours in the tutorial mission, and I cant tell you how long I spent in the first city just exploring. I personally like the slow start of it all, but it's not like skyrim right into the action start or even fallout 4's opening.

Art-wise, I think it's a rather pretty game. The charactrers are definitely improved over the typical bethesda style, and it's clear they tried doing fancier animations. They're not bad animations, but they're definitely too expressive. Overall I havnt found it to be an issue, though it can be a smidge wild here n there.

Companions have had a nifty rework. At least of the main 5 or so companions, during conversations (both in story, and side missions), they'll chime in. It's actually a really fun and cool system and it's nifty to see the different companions takes on certain missions. Compaions can also become angry with you, if you do something they dislike enough (or maybe just do something too extreme?). That all being said, I dont think they're super useful in combat, though they do make great pack animals for all that loot.

Speaking of the story/dialogue and such, I really enjoy it. The main story is pretty cool, and I'm really excited to see if my theorys about the ending are accurate. I'm also really excited for NG+, because I've heard that it changes the story in some way or another.
The Dialogue, I feel like, is vastly improved over other bethesda titles. We're back on the silent protagonist, which is nice of course, but I also really like a lot of the options you can get in conversation. That being said, there have been times where I wasnt a fan of a few of my options, but I think that's bound to happen. You occasionally also have the option to have your companion speak for you, which I think is nifty.

Now the bits that matter. Exploration & combat.

Exploration is alive and well in this title. I, honestly, havent done it as much as I'd like to, and I'm sure you'll run across repeated buildings on some planets. But generally there is a lot of cool and well crafted ♥♥♥♥ to see. You can pick anywhere on a planet to plop your ship down, and then you'll see your POIs with your scanner. Not dissimilar from no mans sky, tbh. I believe there is a boundary box, when you jump onto a planet, though I've not hit it yet and I've gone pretty damn far.

In addition, you can drop yourself onto the same planet multiple times in different spots, and you're kind of expected to? A lot of planets have different "Biomes" and such, and if there is fauna/flora, you may need to search the other biomes (if you want to scan them).
The random encounters have generally been fun, and you get some sad/spooky/and funny world building elements, as per the bethesda way. (still havnt found a skeleton in a toilet yet tho).

Combat is really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good, compared to other bethesda titles. It's definately been upgrated, and thank god, because you can find yourself in some MASSIVE gun fights. It's very cool, taking on 20-30 people at a time, in an abandoned hanger while a space ship is landing. Overall the gunplay feels great, and I'm interested in trying out melee too but have not yet.

Last but not least, Outposts.

The outpost system is really sick so far. It's not unlike fallout 4's settlemens/ and 76's CAMP. You no longer need to wire electricity around, which is great. Just make the generators and they'll do their ♥♥♥♥.

I LOVED that I could go out and find a little ♥♥♥♥♥♥ moon with tons of iron and helium, build a tiny base that I never plan to come back to, and set it up with automated shipping to my main outpost. I think that's such a cool ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idea. The shipping also has a physical shuttle craft that lands at both locations, and delivers the "goods". I can only imagine what it'd be like, building a "shipping hub" outpost somewhere, that goes and fuels all your other ones.

While at the beginning you can only have 8 outposts, upgrading the traits lets you go up to FOURTY SIX.

I didnt go into traits at all here, but I should mention them. They're very nifty, and it's one of the few times I've found myself leveling a character and thinking "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ where do I put the point I want all of these things". It's really a driving factor in wanting to level and explore/do quests.

Ship building and such are also MASSIVE systems that I'd love to go into deeper on, though this review is far from "short" anymore. I've spent hours and hours just building ships. My biggest dislike right now, in that system, is that there isnt a way to save a "blueprint" of your build. So if you decide you dont want it, you gotta throw away that time. Make sure to save before going into ship building, you may not like what you built.

tldr; I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love this game. I cant wait to see what wild ♥♥♥♥ modders do, and I hope I make some myself.

As a newcomer to Armored core, it's been an absolute blast. The build making is a ton of fun, and the weapons all feel really great. I'd certainly not call the difficulty "over tuned", or "too hard". Sure, you're gonna die occasionally on a boss, But as long as you've been workin on your mech and can figure out the bosses moves, then you'll be gucci.

As per the fromsoft way, You must use a controller.

I love love loved remnant 1. It was a fantastic game to play with friends and family, and it's unfortunate that it really was a bit of a sleeper hit. This game builds upon the fantastic design choices and story that the first one had, and just adds to it. It's improved in every way possible. I honestly dont have anything particularly bad to say about this game.
