From someone who has never watched the anime I have to say this game was extremely fun. I have not beat it yet but as of this writing I have about an hour and a half in, and fully expect to finish the game. I havnt tried co-op yet but I am excited to test that out in the next couple days.
The game plays a lot like those old spider man games. You know, the good ones. Swinging around a city and wrecking Giants. Inbetween missions you actually can walk around the various places that the game puts you, generally in the base, and purchase/upgrade new equipment. You also get your missions rated and get various materials and money from finishing them. I believe your characters also level up and get new skills, so there is a surpising amount to this game. As I went through the tutorial I was quite surprised at the amount of content that was shown to you.
Though I havnt watched the anime this game seems to take you through the storyline of it, I dont know how far along it takes you but so far from what Ive been told It is sticking pretty true to it, Which in my opinion is pretty sweet. In general if you like attack on titan, or if you always wanted to try it but dont really want to watch the anime, I suggest grabbing this game, In my opinion it is quite worth it. Make sure to have a controller though.

It's been two years, and jesus christ. It was worth buying this game. LOVE IT. Its crazy what a difference it is to play now. This game is fantastic, 4 player co-op- Base building- Space battles-. I was gonna start another space engineers server for me and my friends, and we all ended up playing this for hours on end instead.

Two reason to buy this game.

1. Its pretty much pre-cu SWG, which is awesome. Granted it is an early state of the game but it can only get better from here.

2. The worst graphics setting is "smedley". So...

Im just happy to be able to play a new fallout game guys. I havn't been able to walk out of a vault since 2008. I needed this.

Having a ton of fun with the game so far, and I really enjoy it more than Dayz (even the mod) and rust. Here are a few pro's and cons I have on it.

PROS-

-Fantastic crafting system, It reminds me of GW2, where you can throw some items into a discovery window, and try to figure out what combination of cloth and wood will make a bow, or a torch, Plus, your character remembers these things even after death, so you dont realy have to restart every time.
- Great graphics.
-Large world- While the game is small than Dayz world so far, it is large enough to make you feel like you are actually exploring. The game as it updates is supposed to far surpas Dayz, but we will see.
- Great dev- While not everyone thinks of SOE as a good dev, I personally enjoy some of their games. Not all of their games are home-runs, but they are a larger team than most indie devs, so they are much more likely to update the games, which makes me feel much safer playing this than something like Dayz

CONS-

-The game did have a nasty launch, but that is something I expect with every MMO/ or large game launch. The game does still have some connection bugs, but once you are ingame It is hard to see any.
- The servers done show how many people exactly are playing on them (Shows high/med/low population) which can make it a bit difficult to choose a server.
- At the moment you can only change settings when on a server, so its pretty easy to get killed while trying to change settings.
- You cant change keybindings ingame( has to be done through a config file) this isnt a huge con, but it can be a bit annoying if your not sure how to find the file.

A few other things about the game. The zombies are more based off Romero zombies. they will follow you around a town, and wont really chase you down unless they get extremely close. I was at one point in a small town, I had a following of close to 14 zombies, following from door to door. A few of them would wander into the cabin I was in, but I was able to hide behind furniture to keep them off me.

Altogether a fun game, and even though I've written this on only the second day of launch, it is looking good. The devs are doing great work with hotfixes and such, and They have changed up the airdrop quite a bit. While a lot of people where complaining about the airpackages dropping weapons, they have changed that. There is only a 10% chance for one of the two packages that can drop a weapon. One of them drops a pistol, the other one drops a shotgun. Not only that but you need 120 people minimum to call in the drop. Plus, The package will drop within 700M of the player, which makes sure that other players will be there to fight.

So in general, if you enjoy survival games, and you enjoy Zombies, you will like this game.

Its pretty fun guys. To be honest, ever since I got steam, and really started pc gaming, I've always wanted a game where I can just build something and wreck peoples stuff, and Keep on building and wrecking untill i get a build that I love. And this is the answere to what I've been looking for.

I've Used this more than Ive played some of the games I've bought, Alot of the games i've bought in fact.

Picked up a Dirtbike, Drove it into a wall and died.
