Howdy Gamer Freunde.

Es ist wirklich einfach eine passende Bewertung abzugeben. Das Spiel selbst ist eigentlich richtig genial geworden. Die spaßigen Bugs und Perfomanceprobleme haben mich jedenfalls lange über die erdrückende Anzahl an Gameplay selbst auf schwachen Konsolen hinwegsehen lassen.
Der Offline Modus hat mir erst super gefallen. Mit Freunden zusammen wars aber echt ein riesen Haufen Kot. Da ich nebenbei noch Twitch mache für Videos und auch gelegentlich ausraste, wollte ich das trennen.
Einige Monate lief das auch gar nicht. Wir haben viele sinnvolle Dinge gemacht, Unterhaltern zugeschaut und mitspielend auch teilen lassen, viel geweint...

Danke an Rockstar Games, meine Familie und Freunde für dieses tolle Abenteuer, wir sehen uns dann im Puff Piano.

Some people say Far Harbor is the best DLC for Fallout 4. I would say that depends on what you want.

The story of this DLC is slightly above average and very short. But the story is just a gimmick to introduce the robots, which are the real meat of this DLC. It is fun to go out in the world with your selfmade robots. But when it comes to the construction of these robots the core mechanic is just like building your power armor, your weapons or your armor. Bethesda could have been way more creative there.
For example, what I would have liked more: You salvage the robots with a tool, without menu, you really cut of parts and take them with you. And with the same tool you weld them to a basic robot frame, with no limits. It would be a real challenge to build useful and new robots, and it would be really hilarious to just build ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up robots that are completely useless.

Is it worth your money? If you like customization, want a new layer of interaction and if you are also content with a simple menu, than my answer is yes. If you love robots, also yes and this could be your favorite DLC, which would be really sad. But if you want a good story, buy Far Harbor. And if you hoped for an ambitious, creative and interesting concept, that really adds new gameplay mechanics to this game, wait for the modders.

This DLC proves that Bethesda can deliver above average content, if they want to.

It adds a new zone. Filled with three factions, a new companion, some new enemies and an eerie vibe.

The story is good, but sadly most characters are unlikeable. There are very little connections to the main game. The synth-storylines bored me, this theme has gone stale for me, even before I finished the main story. But the synth story makes only up one third of the whole DLC, you also have religious fanatics and isolated island dwellers.
In every place i felt kind of detached. This added to the hostile vibe the island irradiated and it was a experience which felt more like Fallout, then the whole Commonwealth. But when you, for example, help the people of Far Harbor and prove your worth, it is really satisfying to see the characters warm up to you. That is what I want when I play a game like this and not being the overboss from the get go or people with opinions of you, that you are not able to change.
The DLC also adds alot of items, like weapons, armor and settlement garbage.
The new companion is a nice addition. Old drunkard with a romantic relationship in his youth, which went wrong and a lost child. He is kind of one-dimensional, like all the other companions in this game, but you can learn to like him, which is a achievement on the island.
You also can decide the fate of all three communities on the island, there is also the only real connection to the main game. You can kill all people, or just one group. You can take out the leaders of the factions, or even negotiate a truce, which is sadly only possible, if you work with the second most unlikeable character in the whole DLC.

Is it worth the money? I would answer this with a yes, if you liked Fallout 4 and want new content, that expands the game in a entertaining way. In that regard it is really worth it, unlike Nuka World. But if you want new mechanics or any new way to interact with the world around you, I woul say no, because in it's essence it is just a slightly better interpretation of the main game virtues.

PS: Help the Mariner, that leads to one of the most interesting quests of Fallout 4.

Age of Empires ist viel zu kompliziert und 5 Gygabyte groß. Marian sagt ich soll installieren, aber darauf hab ich keine Lust, weil Smon dann traurig ist. Smon möchte lieber alleine spielen. Ich glaube Smon ist beleidigt. Smon ist heute auf einer Leiter umgeknickt und hang 6 Stunden im Dachstuhl. Sein gesamtes Blut ist in seinen Kopf gelaufen und nun hat er Glubschaugen. Er musste von sieben muskelbepackten Polen mit einem Kescher befreit werden.
