What a good game, so much nostalgia!

This game was good when all my mates played it. We all had a blast building bases on private servers, taking down massive Dinos like spinosaurus and just having a large mass of dinos where we would build little huts for each one to be stored in, treat them like pets with their own rooms, I loved it! I payed £12 for this around a year ago and was going to be one of my most played games, but as my friends stopped playing, so did I. I revisited around a month ago and just starting off, like most survival games seemed tedious and was just not as fun as when I used to just gape at the dinos.
Come back to today and I have to download a 1.8 GB update, i check what its for since all ARKs updates seem massive and i see its price at £50, and I must say. Do not, for the life of me buy it at this price, ARKs time has come and been, with the fans still playing, in slightly smaller numbers now, but still one of the biggest on steam, but never was it on track to cost MORE than a new AAA game. You could easily buy a best selling game from this year and have it cost less than this, this games price is capped at £25 for me, anything over that is just Overkill.

This game is awful now. The new map is terrible, Duos has been removed and the game runs like absolute trash. I get 20 second freezes in my first and second games after launch and I run a high end rig. WHERE HAS MAP SELECTION GONE

I love this game, i honestly do. I love the Physics of it, but i have to refund it sadly, just because I need the money for other steam sale games. RIP i will miss you, Ill get it in a sale soon Dw. Its such a great game though. If i Had the money to keep it I 100% Would. Definately Pick it up if your interested!

Good, but not really enough players, plus its slightly repetetive, and the controls don't feel that refined.
