Dreadful.

Buggy, annoying, slow cinematic walk NPCs, getting locked into dialogues you can't leave, bosses that hit you through walls, nonsense story.

Really well made and feels balanced enough, fun upgrade system although a little light on content with EA, took about 3 hours to beat.

However at the price and with new content doubtlessly coming a great game.

The best game I've played in years, hope they keep it up.

During the tutorial a giant chibi salamander and a samurai randomly appeared during a fight, which was the point where I alt F4'd

Weeb bait.

i9 9900K and 4090 getting 20 frames WITH framedrops on medium with performance mode.

Fighting a boss for about 15 minutes, it falls over about to die and the game crashes, do it again.

No thank you!

Good of them to charge 25% extra for early access then release a product with so many fatal crashes it won't launch.

Remember when alphas and betas were a thing?

Crashed about 20 times, never selected a character on a high end rig. Updated drivers and it actually got worse.

Edit:

After multiple crashes the menu was loadable, at which point I could turn off the FPS limit: Unlimited which fixed the issue.

There are issues here that should not be present in a PC game, and this game feels like a lazy port:

1) Massive input lag AND mouse acceleration you have to manually config out. How is this still a thing in 2024 shooters?
2) Screen tearing even on a very high spec PC, and a V-Sync option which is greyed out with no indication for how to make it toggleable. And yes, I'm in fullscreen, game doesnt care much.
3) Some things are just not bindable, such as the torch. You can use L or middle mouse, but they are hard-bound.
4) The quick access for meds is default set to Q and E and lean is set to Z and C.... in a shooter.... Even if you rebind them you have to deal with the forced double bind of press/hold for those quick access items.

Mixed in with enemies spawning inside of you, the worst voice acting I've ever heard and just a general frustration with interacting at all with the game, I would wait 5 months or so.
