I started this right after I've finished Firewatch, and I couldn't help myself from seeing The Invincible as a Sci-Fi Firewatch.
Of course, the story has nothing to do with Firewatch, but its start similar, slowly building the tension, making you question everything you see and find, to the point of wondering if there would be a good ending.
Not sure if the games has any breaking bugs since I've not encountered any in either one of my playthroughs, but my God this games has a metric ton of invisible walls. Other than that, I didn't found anything bad about it. Loved every second of the games, and as a bonus, the Voice Acting was amazing. Hell, whoever did Yasna's VA made me actually care about her through the game.

I'll be honest, I expected a simple cozy firewatch game where you spend most of your day hiking around, seeing wildlife and well doing your job. And while you do start with those, it gets more... emotional as the days passed. ( I will not spoil the story, but I want to say that, all the parts of it, had emotion behind them, which is quite rare nowadays)
This is one of the few games, I highly recommend as a must play.

I will start this by saying that despite the horrible motion sickness that the game gave me towards the end, I still enjoyed the living hell out of it. The combat was good and dynamic which my God was so welcome, especially after playing Star Wars Squadron . I will not spoil anything, but the way you "learn" your abilities is also nice as it gives you time to familiarize yourself with each and everyone of them. And by the time you reach the endgame, your ship would be quite a killing machine.
While I did enjoyed the combat and story, and as I said the horrible motion sickness, the flying mechanics were a bit too sensitive and sometimes even unresponsive making me hit one too many walls for my liking. I think I've died four or five times the first time I encounter the chase part of the game.
Thankfully enough, I didn't found any bugs, so that's another plus.
If you don't suffer MS or can take small dozes of it, then play this game, you will not regret. :D

I might have ten hours in this game, but I haven't finished the game once yet :))
However, with that out of the way, the game is good, and the devs actually care , which is always a bonus. I will probably rewrite this when I finish at least a run, but until then, GET THE GAME!

I've seen a lot of negative reviews about this one, and while its true that its not perfect, it's by far as worst as those reviews make it.
Yes, I'll start by saying that the combat is not easy to get used and requires quite a few pauses in between special attacks, but its so satisfying seeing tens of orcs and goblins flying all over.
Now, while the combat isn't wow, what this game shines is the story which follows the first book of The Dwarves Series(Just bought the first four books, so hopefully they will be as good as the game's story was)
So, just for the story and the gameplay that I got to enjoy, I'll recommend the game, but if this janky combat is not your jam, watch some youtube videos before buying it.

Played the game for almost 14 hours, so I'd say I got to see everything it has to offer.
For me it was fun and quite frankly didn't had any problems with the grind. Yes, there's a lot of repetitive quests, but well, its an indie game not a AAA game. The combat is bit a wanky, but not bad, at least not when you finally understand how to dodge all attacks.
Kind of wish steam had a middle ground button, but well, the deserve a positive review. If you plan to play it, get ready for some tenish hours of fun :D

This is my second FMV game I've played, and its many a time better than Who pressed mute on Uncle Marcus.
Granted its a different genre all together. The story starts kind of in middle ground, not giving you all that much info on your MC, but as you play, you'll learn stuff.
Finished the game five times to get the achievements, and I barely completed half of the scenes available, so that's awesome for replayability , and if you are wondering what the game offers?
Well it has a bit of everything :shooting, romance, crazy bro, hell you even have gore and a cannibal.
If that didn't convinced you, well, i don't know what might :D
EDIT : You can skip scenes you had seen with TAB

Ever wanted to punish sinners in hell and feel like you’re at work? Well, funny enough this indie game lets you do both! Think Doom meets office simulator, but instead of emails(You'll get some, even spam), you’re dealing out eternal punishment. What’s not to love?

In all seriousness, the game is a blast. The music? Phenomenal—Anyone who likes doom and deck builders, will no doubt feel right at home. The gameplay is simple, but oh man, is it addictive. It’s the kind of game where you sit down for "just a few minutes" and suddenly an hour’s gone by. Maybe too addictive… but hey, I for one ain't complaining?

(SPOOKTOBER REVIEW)
I went into Maid of Sker with low expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The game nails its late 1800s atmosphere, with the, and I dare say, eerie hotel layout feeling straight out of Resident Evil and some great music that really sets the tone(I didn't knew Welsh music could be so good). This isn't the best horror game out there and its clearly somewhat going for the RE experience so this might not scratch that itch, but it's enjoyable on its own,at least to me it was.

While Maid of Sker is marketed as horror, it feels more like a stealth game once the enemies show up. Puzzles are simple but stretched out because of the sneaking required to avoid said enemies(well its only enemy type most of the game), which made things feel slower than they needed to be. Later, a second enemy, similar to guy from resident evil that hunts you down, can't remember its name, so everything you learned in the game so far, forget it when dealing with him. There were some jump scares, but nothing truly terrifying compared to other horror games (Outlast, I'm looking at you).

On the downside, I ran into some camera glitches mid-game that forced me to reload my save a few times. Luckily, the issue disappeared after I avoided using a particular mechanic to hold my breath when enemies were near.

Overall, I say Maid of Sker is a solid atmospheric game with a few bugs and a heavier focus on stealth than scares. Worth a play if you enjoy atmospheric games with a bit of a slower pace.

I don't usually write reviews, but this game deserves one. When I started the game, I didn't know much about it and began playing with the idea that the whole game was about a priest who wants to build his own church. But boy, was I wrong, and I'm thankful for that. The start was interesting, especially with how naturally the main cast was introduced. The choices you make have an impact on how your story ends, and that's a good thing. By the time you reach the second book, you will have gotten attached to your characters, making you worried about their fates. There was a part that lets you choose if one of the characters dies or not. However, as much as I enjoy reading medieval period stories, I was surprised by how... let's call it, realistic the setting was, with all the good and ugly parts of that time period, and how despite all odds you fight against the only thing that inspire hope for the peasants. I will end this by admitting that this was an emotional rollercoaster for me, and I highly recommend anyone who bothers to read my ranting to try this game.
