It may not be the most polished, gameplay wise, but makes up for it, with an immersive story, very decent tension building, integrating lore and mystery, and of course, the lovable cast, especially Rambley. It maybe a short ride, clocking in at only an hour or less, but makes up for it, with the reply value, and finding any secrets or hidden details you might've missed, first time around. It also isn't afraid to have fun, and throw in some humor, here and there.

If you're gonna get mad at something that's more or less acts as a demo or pilot (or just anything that's free), just because it throws in a bit of humor in your scary game, and has the occasional graphical issue, now and again, you might have a maturity problem. Not everything needs be a Silent Hill.

A short, simple, yet somewhat challenging platformer that should take you only an hour to beat. While a little on the short side, it does make up for it with some extra challenges that will extend your playtime, and add an additional layer to it. My only gripe is that the screen is a bit too zoomed in, making some jumps feel like a leap of faith.
The final escape is extra atrocious, since, you're going upwards, meaning you have even less to work with.
Outside of that issue, it's a fun and charming time. Would recommend.

Cult of the Lamb is probably one of the most fun Rouge-Likes i've played. Between the cute, yet horrifying at times, visuals, the weird, lovable (MOSTLY) characters, and the swift and satisfying combat, this is definantly worth checking out. It is a little on the easy side, for normal, but if you're just getting into rouge-likes, this game may be a prefect starting point. I don't know how much harder hard more is, but you can find out for yourself, if you feel like it

Half-Life, but better in an absolute sense of the word. Pushing the Source engine past limits I didn't even know were possible,
while looking great and playing fluently. There are so many moments that made me go "yep, this is the definitive version of Half-Life. No point going back."

Then Xen came along, and knocked out of the ballpark, and into outer space. They just had to make it not suck, and call it good, but the team went above and beyond, and essentially created a masterpiece. So many set pieces and environments, looking gorgeous, but very alien.

Very much worth getting at full price, the devs earned it. You won't regret it.

This is one of those games, that, although has some problems, has withstand the test of time. Gun-gameplay is fast and feels satisfying, varying amount of weapons, decent light puzzle solving, killer soundtrack, and gets a good balance of both action and horror.
It hasn't aged like wine, though. Movement feels a bit slippery, which isn't the best, when it comes to platforming, and the difficulty tends to swing, everywhere. Also, there are far too many moments to count, where taking damage isn't really an option, mainly by fall damage.
Minus those things, it's an alright game, worth checking out.

Early Access Review
This is one hell of a Touhou fangame. Fast and slick gameplay, great music, and beautiful pixel graphics! This is a game you will enjoy as a stand alone, but will enjoy more if you're familiarthe Touhou games. The best game to compare it to is Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, in terms of gameplay and how you explore. Definitely worth a Look!
