Got this from already being a C:R owner. I really like the improvements over the already killer game.

Folks, I have been playing this game since the shareware in the 90's. This is not a half-hearted reboot of the original. It's the genetic successor to the one-of-a-kind battle-racing sim that will keep you entertained for many hours. I got my grandmother to play the original and she never had more fun at a PC than mowing down pedestrians and doing donuts like it was nineteen-sixty-who-gives-a-f.
I don't understand why this game isn't more popular. It's fun. Really fun. MP is not the best and could use some more attention, therefore has few people on it. SP, however, is just like it should be. It takes a lil while to unlock all the cars and stages. Progression doesn't feel grindy.

If you liked the original, you'll love this.

If you never heard of this game, just think of an adult-only version of Mario Kart.

Hilarious gameplay. Very fun!

I really love playing this game with headphones on and having the music turned up. The sounds track is great and keeps things flowing.

This game is pretty challenging. You will die many times.

So much fun!

Long-term Review:
This game is finally looking like a finished product. Been playing the alpha and betas since 2015 (jeez) and it has come a long way. Originally, I enjoyed the great graphics and physics... just running cars into each other. Then came the racing! Cars would handle okay but things were a tad buggy and the interface was clearly not a polished berry spoon if you know what I mean.
Fastforward to recently, where we have modern GUI with career, custom matcheds and MP, things are looking great, vehicles handle nice and it's funner than ever.
I really hope this game gets the attention it deserves in this day of rinse-and-repeat crap games with shiny graphics. This game is great for jumping into some banger racing or straight-up demolition.
I am a die-hard Forza fan and think this game does what the Horizon series tries to do with offroad but misses the mark. These guys are nailing dirt driving hard, careening thru dirt and colliding with tire/barricades in the right way.
Graphics (and crash/crushing physics) really are killer. Fun is the name of the game!

Really fun and entertaining most of the time. There's a few painfully repetetive parts (mostly due to random battles) but it couldn't keep me from recommending this fun trip through RPG evolution.

No doubt one of the greatest games out right now.
I was hoping for a strong singleplayer experience and WOW... I was completely blown away at how fun it was. Clever level designs that flow and feel massive most of the time. Oh, and the charm it dished out with it's dark humor had me chuckling several times. LOVED IT.
I don't play much on MP but it was fun enough for me to get into it here and there. Snapmaps adds unending replayability. There's been unconceibavle scenarios created with it and is quite easy to make maps and even manipulate your own game mode... all on your own.

Challenging and loads of fun
