Once you get the hang of it, it's just as fun as Doom 2016.

Loved the original Insurgency and Sandstorm is rapidly living up to its predecessor. One of the best action/sim/realism games out there.

Realistic war FPS - almost a sim game, but the controls are very intuitive. Teamwork is key. Game is getting regular updates which is improving gameplay over time.

Poor PC port - right off the bat the menus aren't optimized for a mouse. Have to use arrow keys to go through all options instead of being able to scroll via mousewheel.

The netcode is something out of 56k days - lag, poor hit detection, and teleporting are the order of day.

Weapon balance is terribad and the gunplay is stale and boring. Maps are familiar to anybody who has played more than an hour of any previous COD title.

Same old COD - repetitive, uninspired, and designed for console only.

Red Orchestra only in Vietnam with flame throwers and helicopters and grenade launchers and claymores and squad tunnels and the jungle.

Haven't experienced any crashing/stuttering/graphical issues so far. I was a closed BETA tester and the game is exponentially more stable/smoother than earlier iterations.

This game is a *LOT* of fun and itches the RO scratch quite nicely.

Early Access Review
Pros:

- Addictive as hell. Often find myself saying "Just one more game"
- Finding/joining games is fast and easy. Usually join a ~100 person server under a minute.
- The ever-collapsing ring of play keeps action focused and fast-paced.

Cons:

- Servers can be *very* laggy - sometimes to the point where you teleport in one place and can't move anywhere.
- Related to latency sometimes you can't pick up items/enter vehicles reliably.
- Since this is early access the game engine isn't fully optimized so FPS stays in the 60's even on lower settings.

Still, this game is fun as hell and gets you into the action fast.
