The problem with eating pizza by hand is that you basically alternate between eating several bites of the good part and several bites of the crust. I'm a crust-eater myself, but about halfway into the crust it gets really boring. And on the other hand, when I'm eating the saucy part, occasionally I crave for some crust in between, but there's still so much non-crust in the way. So I'm forced to occasionally take a bite from the side of the slice, to get some variety. But this results in the problem of the slice becoming unwieldy, as the "handle" shrinks and the slice becomes narrow. I feel like the only feasible solution would be to have a secondary crust that forms a circle about half a radius from the midpoint, i.e. a circle within a circle with sauce in the spaces between. However, we may not have advanced enough technology to create a pizza of this type.
