This is exactly the game fans have been waiting for 13 years. The campaign doesn't overstay it's welcome or get tedious, has plenty of cinematic and cool moments from the get-go and a good climax. PvE is very fun especially with friends(campaign is also co-op) and the core gameplay loop is satisfying enough to play all the same missions over and over again while leveling characters. PvP is a bit unbalanced at this time but the devs are very good at receiving feedback and I'm sure it'll get better.

Had years of early access only to throw most of the balancing out the window upon release

I love the endless universe and I played all games except for ES1. The core game-play of Endless dungeon is definitely very good and a nice refreshment of the more turn based DOTE. But there are some issues that I think make the game much worse than it could be:
-I'm not opposed to elemental system as it is, it just feels largely useless because it's not "all weapons work ok but the element this enemy has weakness to works better" it's "all weapons suck except the element they're weak too"
-Light enemies are especially awful to fight against because they simply vanish and ignore the turrets and go straight for the crystal, no other enemies have such abilities
-The atmosphere is a little lacking; DOTE was very mysterious and dark and music was the biggest emphasis of each stage. In here music is in the background, sometimes you hear it sometimes it's not even there, and the biggest atmosphere is shooting of guns. Considering how much I like the ES soundtracks it's a disservice(I do like the remixes of DOTE tracks in this game, major props to G4F records)
-Dialogue is hardly capturing anything important it's mostly banter and boring at that, not to mention most characters are who knows what. There's 2 humans, a drakken, some robots and a bug(who knows what shroom is. Where are the aliens? Where are all the races from EL and ES2?(other than drakken).
I wish this game all the best but can't quite recommend it in the current state(even if it plays really smoothly and there are hardly any bugs)

Could have been much better especially on release. While I believe with time it'll be really good I think the game is pretty dead now and they'll never get the numbers they had on release again

I'm quite a fan of Roguelikes and this one is a great example of how to do everything in it right. Not only that they want above and beyond to make a real good story and heavily invested in dialogue and interactions with npcs which a lot of the games of this genre don't usually do. Soundtrack is 10/10 as a cherry on top

I don't know why this game started getting positive reviews, basically nothing changed since it's release. Don't buy it even on sale, it's dull, boring and just constantly fighting enemies in the same pattern

The game is pretty capturing and stunning. It doesn't have too many scenarios to play through but the replayability of your decisions and difficulty modes make up for it. I look forward to more content they add.
P.S. The OST is stunning

A pretty good RTS with a lot of victory conditions which is fun. Various playstyles and map circumstances to spice things up. And there is also survival element during winter.
