Europa Universalis 4 sometimes known as Eu4 is a grand stratergy game that covers the mid 15th to early 19th centuries. Unlike most games you have played Eu4 has no set goal. You can control any historical nation from the times above and craft it to your will, controlling the economy, trade, politics and most importantly warfare. I have only had the pleausure of playing two games in this series. Eu4 and Eu3 and I must say that Paradox interactive have done a great job of making this rather niche genre more accesible to the casual gamer. Eu4 is much more fast flowing and has a much beter help system than its predecescors and has much more depth in terms of trade and diplomacy. overall i would probably give Eu4 a 7/8 out of ten the only reason I wouldnt put it higher is due to occasional bugs that i and other players have noticed. But still a great game for lovers of the stratergy genre. (If any new players want a game co-op or competitive please post below or send me a friend request.)
