I don't know if there's much to sum up in how relaxing and simple this game is. There's a competitive drive to achieve your goals, a little bit of anxiety when you're down to the last few trials and trying to make it work, but when you achieve a narrow save, you feel really, really good.

I'd almost say it's a perfect little puzzle, but I do have some gripes. Tile rng can feel like the game is actively working against you at times, especially for quest fulfillment (repeatedly getting forest tiles when you really, really need to close it off), or when trying to complete the games many achievements. And some of these achievements are rough, and a little bit out of your control at times. I've been very close to the train tile completion, but sometimes the pieces don't work out that way.

Another issue IS acquiring achievements. You can't actually make progress on achievements until you've connected to one of the various pre-placed quest tiles- which is a bit counter-intuitive, not helped by the fact that what quest unlocks what achievement feels arbitrary. You could make several perfect placements, repeatedly, but until you've 'unlocked' that achievement, it won't count progress.

Dorfromantik is overall a wonderful game, with some minor annoyances that don't detract from it.

I adore Halo and really want to give this a good score because the core gameplay is AWESOME. But the battle pass, progression and abysmal customization bring it down (especially when the last point was meant to be an area of focus).

Challenges, the only way of progressing the pass without $$, are random, save for a repeating one that just asks you to play matches in exchange for 100xp (note that the criteria of how much you have to play goes up, but the xp does not). You can't specifically queue for game types, so you may get challenges you can't even complete right away (and weapon challenges are currently bugged it seems).

It takes 1000xp to hit a single level of the battlepass. If the daily challenge kept its criteria the same, then it'd take 10 matches for one level. But it doesn't.

There are free unlockables within the battlepass, but they're heavily spread out and delayed (level 6 was the earliest). With the paid battlepass, it's slightly earlier.

Overall, its a great game, held back by predatory practices yet again.

EDIT: Daily challenge does in fact go up, by 50xp incrementally, but not upon every completion.

Easily one of From Software's best entries, and one of its most challenging.

The game features smooth, tight rhythm-like combat. Sekiro redefines the combat wheel present in prior Souls-like entries, and forces even veterans to rethink their playstyle. While there is a removal of weapon selection and armor, the addition of Shinobi tools and a variety of usable items allows one to approach each boss differently each time if they so choose.

While the new process of acquiring skills can be a grind, after you've completed all four of the game's endings, the game turns into a fun pseudo-boss rush, which is something the Soulsborne series has needed for some time.

Environment and music are always on point, and even the dreaded poison swamp featured in every entry does not overstay its welcome.

I HIGHLY recommend this game if you are a fan of this genre.

My favorite game, of all time. Sure there are bugs here and there, but the game has memorable moments. Each companion brings life to the story, your adversaries even more so. A story that compels you all the way through it, Dragon Age: Origins is a game crafted of brilliance. The Ultimate Edition gives you the most complete version, with some of the best DLC.
