Metal Gear Solid Delta is a faithful remake of the 3rd Metal Gear Solid in the series subtitled Snake Eater. Konami made the right game to remake to introduce current generation as well as returning players to this classic series.This game doesn't need any previous knowldge of past games and can be enjoyed on its on. This is the start of the story in the timeline of the series.

Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake eater is a heavy story and plot based games. Expect to sit back and watch a lot of cutscenes. Kojima, the creator of the series has been well known for the pretty long of hollywood style movie like scenes that builds story, atmophere and characters. Whats here is pretty well told, keeps you guessing character motivations and plot twists. The likes no other game come close to telling & leaves you with deep thoughts and emotions on how it ends.

You play as Snake, a CIA agent tasks with sneaking in a soviet jungle to save a scientst. Snake can avoid detection by hiding behind trees and bushs from enemy soldiers. Also, snake can blend to his enviroment by applying different type of camofulage to his suit. When detected, snake use a varaity of different weapons to defend himself when the game goes into alert status. Though this kind of gameplay is discouraged since the enemy can easily overpower you in numbers. Instead, snake can stun, kill and hid bodies to stay hidden from the enemies. Moving through them without detection on each level can be very rewarding as you feel you outsmarted the level.

The other aspect of the gameplay is the survival part, when snake gets injured, he can treat his wounds through a number of medical items like bandages, antidots and even cold meds. There are very and far between health items. So snake has to keep his health in top shape. Otherwise stamina gets depleted. Furthermore, snake got take care of hus hunger and hunt animals to stay fed. There are tons of different kinds to eat and some can be eaten by.

Once you get the hang of the different gameplay elements, there are a number of bosses that acts like a test of how well you mastered the gameplay mechanics. Though the characters that serves as bosses are not as compelling as the ones in previous game they still serve as a fun challanges

Grahically, the game is a looker! every angle is a sight to be hold. Though all of this is expected witht the new shining paint that is unreal engine 5. Everything is almost life like even the fibers on the character's outfit. Though it comes with a cost of performance. I personally didn't have major issues. I usually lock games at 30 FPS and max out graphics. Was smooth sailing for me.

Finally, the game's a classic, was handled with so much care giving to moderniz it with overshoulder view camera, pause screen and many other options. I envy those who will try this version for the first time. I hope they can get over the long cutscene because here is something really special. I wish it was reimagined to take full advantage of the hardware. But, I am happy they went with this remake and hope the best is still yet to come.

I wanted to write a short review just for the Steam Award thing ,turns out I have a lot to say about this game xD

Resident evil 2 is an almost faithful recreation/re-imagining of the classic game of the same name that came out way back in 1998. You don't need to play the first one to get what's going on . For the few things it gets wrong about the classic it does many many things right, It is the the new standard in survival horror games that other developers should stride to achieve.

It features two playable protagonists Claire & Leon on their intersecting quests to escape the dying Raccoon city due to the T-Virus outbreak. Claire's writing excels while sticking close to her character in the original game. A grounded and a relatable character motivation and actions. However, Leon's stumbles a bit in the typical videogame/movie be the hero , do the right thing clichés. Both things can be said about several other characters in the game that were rewritten to be more interesting or more cliches that I won't spoil here.

Luckily, The game play is were Resident evil 2 shines. The game is played from the third person perspective which angered lot of fans but having played the game ,this was the right decision. You control both Leon and Claire to escape the city by solving puzzles and defeating enemies while managing your short and few resources of ammo and health items. The game also includes several bosses and re-occurring ones that you will have to content with. *massive foot step sounds*

The very detailed horrific & grotesque hallways of the police station where the game first takes place is a marvel to behold. Capcom did a terrifyingly great job in revamping the game to bring it to the modern age. Never before I have seen such detailed zombie facial animation , movement & reaction to each of your shots. Even limbs can be severed so realistically it's pretty impressive. That goes for all other enemies in the game which also I won't be going in details in fear of spoilers.

Capcom has been doing a great job lately. I really love and appreciate everyone who contributed to greenlight & develop this game with so much obvious love and care as this is one of my favorite childhood games. Also , Capcom released a sequel to Devil may Cry which also received similar love and care. Clearly, Capcom has listened to it's fans.

Just to rate the game:

Story: 7/10 (some of the character motivations weren't really believable)
Gameplay : 9/10 (Can't really see anything bad with it except the lack of a free camera mode which is me just nitpickin)
Graphics : 10/10
Sound: 10/10
Replayability : 8/10 ( you got four campaigns for the main story, some plot holes when comparing them which is why I took away some points , several unlockable mini stories)

Rating overall : 9/10

if you're a Resident evil fan chances are you don't even need to read this review. If you're a new comer this would be the perfect game to try out the franchise & see what's all the fuss been about. For 15$ , this would be criminal to miss!

Pros :
1- Great Story .
2- Great Combat , Think Assasin's Creed Games combat with no Counter to win and more tactics . like what to use on which enemy .
3- Great Open World to explore with so much to do and see .
4- deep RPG elements .
5- Best Graphics in an open world game Ive seen yet .

Cons :
1- need to play the other games to get the full picutre , since some choices from older games counts here .
2- cant think of any .

Great Game all around , Fun gameplay , Good Story and Plot , Great graphics , Great Open World , Great Online Mode ....Must Have .

Yes its a Demo , but its a Good one . I enjoyed it Alot
