Effortlessly polished to perfection. From the UI to the mechanics, everything is flawless.

With the full release of the game out, I can confidently say that I feel guilty for having received this game for free because the $25 this game costs is so incredibly worth it that I've bought the game for 4 different people.

Never before has there been a game where each update makes me more and more satisfied and happy with the game even after installing dozens of mods and returning to vanilla gameplay. The modding scene, which I should add, is incredibly active. The mods themselves are also amazing since most are quite simple and are usually less than a single MB.

The characters you can play as are all viable, fun, and diverse in how they're played.

This game has varying difficulties with monsoon being the hardest and a considerable challenge, but the lower difficulties are quite reasonable and give the player plenty of opportunities to learn what's going on.

The game doesn't hold your hand and teach you how to play, but it does a great job at letting you understand how to play since the design is very simple: kill enemies, get money, buy items, repeat until you go to the teleporter and go to the next stage.

The enemies are fairly diverse but don't stick out too much as anything special, and that's not a bad thing because once you get a good run going they're not going to stay on the screen for more than a few seconds. When you're at a point in the game where these enemies don't fall faster than you can turn to look at the already decaying corpse, there are likely quite a number of them so their simple design makes things a bit easier to understand what's attacking you.

The items in RoR2 are all good to pickup and use (except for the Crowdfunder) and even items that aren't useful for the build that you have can be used with the scrapper and #D Printers to turn them into more useful items

Overall, this game is easy to understand, but provides a fair challenge in harder difficulties. There's great multiplayer and plenty of content to keep you entertained for too many hours. The only con I can think of is that when you start a run you'll have no idea how the time turned to 3 AM
