Ladder is a unique take on the ladder-like genre. There are a wide range of ladders to find and equip each with their own unique laddersets. Exploration of ladder is a large focus with many branching ladders leading back to previous ladders. The ladder doesnt seem to have i-frames making combat all about good ladder positioning and timing your ladders just right.

The devs have been actively laddering and have released 2 ladders so far that have already greatly improved the ladder experience.

I don't normally review games but this game deserves more love than its getting. The negative reviews confuse me as they're mostly concerning bugs, which the game has because its early access...

I have not run into any gamebreaking bugs. The worst and most common bug would be enemies getting caught in the geometry. I never found myself getting stuck anywhere and for the most part you can just ignore any stuck enemies and move on with no issue.

The gameplay is brilliant. The world is created and designed in such a way that the permadeath system is not a thing to fear at all. There isn't many situations where dying proved to be a niusance. The primary goal is to just explore the world and unlock shortcuts for your future characters to use.

There's a good amount to explore that 3 hours in I don't think I've seen half of what it has already to offer.

This game needs polish but I'm writing this on version 0.5. Its very fun and the developers seem incredibly passionate about it. With some time this game will only get better.
