Needs private servers but I still highly recommend it since the servers are so dead that you can basically say the entire game is a private server.

In it's current form I can only somewhat recommend it to those who are

1. Dedicated to Scott Pilgrim.
2. Really enjoy couch co-op
3. Can live with a lack of updates from ubisoft's less than desirable response times or updates.
4. Can be incredibly patient when it comes to playing online co-op in any state right now.

Other than that I can't say this is a good port, personally I've been waiting for this game to come to steam for years so I've coughed over the cash ubisoft.

Hello there Ubisoft Employee, (not entirely) sorry for the late reply! I am very busy attempting to find out how to shoehorn in DRM into a 12 year old game that didn't originally have it along with implementing an online function that wasn't thoroughly tested. This review will NOT change until both those problems have been solved, though knowing the company's incompetence; lack of care and polish, I doubt there will ever be a fix that isn't fanmade.

I bought the game as a joke since I recently played bard in a few other games with some friends.
Ended up loving this game to bits after playing it since the characters are written well and character development stays developed. Also good music.
