It's mount and blade warband but it's got a facelift, that's enough for me to recommend it to anyone.

You should be mindful that this is still early access though and unless you've got a powerful computer you might experience performance issues. Game crashes occasionally, certain quests are bugged, battles can get buggy too and in my game the southern empire started blobbing right at the start of the game and they haven't stopped yet.
