This game doesn't take long to finish, but it's WELL worth the price tag. More games should be this accessible and fun, kept me entertained for much longer than it should have.

Early Access Review
It cannot be overstated how much of a game changer adding cute little beaver workers to a city simulator can turn the entire game into a heroine level addiction.

Did not expect nearly as much as I got for a free game. As long as you wait for big sales on Platinum (and they'll come, be patient), you won't wind up spending much real money on this game (and you aren't obligated to spend any). Incredibly fun, be sure to play through the questlines as there's a considerable amount more depth to the story than is initially presented.

I had searched for a decent FPS series to dive into for years. There have been many very good games in this genre, but none really hooked me until Doom 2016. Once I finished that game, picking up this one was a no brainer. A ton of fun, much ripping and tearing. Very, very intense. If you're looking for an adrenaline rush, you've found it.

Having never played anything in the Doom franchise before, and looking for a FPS I could really get into for the first time in years, I figured the soft reboot would be worth a shot. This game is exhilarating. It repeatedly loads you up on shields, health, and ammo, then throws an obscene amount of demons and baddies at you trying to grind you down. So glad I gave this a shot, once I finished I picked up Doom: Eternal without a second thought.

Read the other reviews. This game was a huge disappointment for me. Normally I'm not a big fan of the genre, but the story seemed compelling, and the atmosphere phenomenal. I will give them that, the atmosphere for this game is pretty awesome... the only problem is that it's never validated. This game is the opposite of satisfaction, though it is very very pretty and does a great job of building up unecessary suspense.

You will absolutely find this game compelling and satisfying if you were a teenager, found out you were a lesbian in the mid 90s, and grew up in the suburbs. Outside of that very specific demographic, I can't imagine it holding you for very long.
