Fun little time killer. Took me about 3 hours to complete.

One of the best gaming experiences I've ever had period. If you're thinking about getting this game, stop thinking and just get it. It looks amazing, sounds amazing and feels amazing to play. My top game of 2024.

Don't judge Astlibra by it's art style or the initial experience, if you're somebody that enjoys RPGs and a fun combat system, you'll be drawn to this game. Astlibra feels like a mishmash of other games that I love, while being completely unique in how it's presented. There are systems that feel tailored for hardcore fans of the series, but none of it feels overwhelming.

I'll admit there are difficulty spikes that could feel unfair and if you want 100% completion you will have to be prepared to grind. The story, while starting off as your typical power fantasy jrpg, quickly becomes much more. There are multiple endings and different outcomes and without spoiling too much, the post game offers a ton of extra content, it almost feels like a whole new game.

It would take too long to explain how much this game can offer and why I love it, so just try it yourself. You won't be disappointed, honestly this is one of the best games I've ever played.

If you're a fan of the Disgaea characters/theme and Mobile games with similar RPG elements, you might enjoy this one. It's a nice game to throw on in the background while you do other things. It's not the same as the other games in the franchise, for starters it's more like your traditional mobile Gacha games, with the classic Disgaea "Big number get bigger" aspect attached.

Your traditional Disgaea systems are replaced with ones more fitting for a typical Mobile game. You can have a party of up to 5 characters and level them up using resources you grind for. There is a lot of grinding in this game, which can be a pro or con for some. DRPG IS a Gacha game so if you're turned off by that it might not be for you.

Disgaea RPG is fun and decently in depth for what it is, it's also free so you can always try it and drop it later. It's fairly easy to play as a F2P player, as long as you plan how you spend your Nether Quartz. (the earned and purchased currency)
Purchasing Nether Quartz is a little bit overpriced in my opinion and the game seems to turn into an item world farming simulator after you complete the majority of the other content.

This game offers a fair amount to get stuck into such as Story, PVP, Raids, Challenges and is constantly updated with new events. The events, banners and community are great and keep me invested. The art, music and animations are very cool and exactly what you'd expect from Disgaea. Give it a try and join the community!

This game has been my "bored go to" game for a while now. I'm acutally really suprised with how well made and addictive this game is. Considering it's still in early dev, i can only expect more great things.

Such a great game, it's so hard to believe it was made by 1 person.. flawless gameplay, beautiful visuals and music. Up there with some of my favourite indie games of all time, next to cavestory.
