Everything is as it should be. We won divers; sony had no choice but to listen to AH, and the world is a better place for it. Come play an amazing game that deserves your time and effort.

What is not to like about this game. You are dwarfs in space trying your best to fill your quota, as mission control constantly reminds you of the perils of mining in a planet filled with murderous bugs. This is the best 4 player game I have played in a long while. So if you like star ship troopers with a mix of pure crazed mineral mining, then this game is for you. Play it, and you will know the meaning of "Karl" and "Rock and Stone". If you don't want to play it, then your on your own you leaf lover.

What can I say about this lovely little game. It reminds me of the good old days of Ninja Gadien. The difficult but fair platforming, the interesting enemies. Not to mention the killer soundtrack that goes with it. If you are a lover of 8bit games, cryptic prophecies, not to mention funny shop keepers. This game is a must by, no questions asked.

What can be said about this game that has not already been said already. If you enjoy a city building genre with a twist, then really look no further than this wonderfully crafted game. It is something to be said if a game can actually make you feel something towards people that don't really exist, in a world that might have actually happened. So take up your axe and your pick, see if you can possibly survive the cold enviroment that is the twisted new ice age. Good luck londoner, your going to need it.

What can't be said about this game that has not already been said. This gem of a game was made during the golden age of adventure games, and it shows it. The lines, the laughs, the atmosphere of this game alone is worth the price of admission. So buckle up, grab a soda, and hit the road with the Polecats.

What can I say about this game that has not already been said? If you love doomsday games on newgrounds then this game is right up your alley. I can't count the times that this game will beat you, we as humans are a persistant bunch, we overcome any obstical that is thrown before us. That is the very core of this game, can you make a virus so powerful, so difficult to cure, that we, the cockroaches of the world, can't win? Trust me when I say that a whopping $15 for a game this amazing is beyond a blessing, not to mention you now have multiplayer and co-op. So dust off your mad scientist lab coats, fire up your petri dishes and get to making the deadliest virus mankind has ever seen.

---Adendum----

There is also a sick joy to this game when your virus starts to pick up speed and the death toll starts to mount, I found myself laughing like a maniac when I pictured my virus taking down the world.

Well well well....it seems that homeworld has finally made it back onto the main gaming stream at last, thank you gear box software. Onto what you all want to hear however, how does it play? Well then lets break this beast down.

Age:
Well lets face facts, homeworld one came out in the summer of 1999, and its sequel came out in the fall of 2003, so having said that, I bought both of these bad boys when they came out. I was so very young, and I was into all sorts of RTS games at the time. Command and Conquer, Starcraft, Warcraft, Red Alert, and Tiberian Sun, so I loved all RTS. To that point, this game destroyed all of them.

Gameplay:
Well since Gearbox was so very forward thinking, this game comes with a pretty awesome multiplayer, however its still in beta, and there are still some persistant glitches here and there. The campaign on the other hand is a differnet matter, long gone is the ability to choose between the Kushaan and the Tidann when starting the campaigns, you can only play the Kushaan (the mother ship race that is pictured on the box). While this is not a big thing, I was more of a fan of the Tidann mothership as well as the look of their fighters, however this is a small gripe. This game suffers from most RTS problems about missions, the curse of variety. What I mean by that is the pure fact that not ever mission is going to be, "Warp in, look around, fight baddies, then warp to the next mission." Some missions have you doing different things, and some of these things tend to slow the pacing down just a little bit. This is the only complaint, this game has brought me to tears many times as a child, the music, the atomsphere, everything is just spot on.

Graphics:
The first game looked amazing back in the day, this time around it just looks eye bleeding amazing, I could not ask for anything more. Also the cutscenes are still pretty awesome, and now that they are redone with some glorious 1080p resolution, they look even better. Think of the cutscenes like reading and animated comic book, if that sounds confusing then you will understand when you play the game.

Controls:
These controls are a little different than your standard RTS game, since you can move in three planes it makes controlling a bit different. Using the mouse works well, but to move freely you need to use the keyboard as well. It does take a little time to get the hang of things, but a pro vs a novice will only be able to look and move things faster in the end, it will not make or break gameplay.

Overall: 10/10
If you are a fan of RTS games then this thing should be in your cart before you finish reading my review, its such fun to play, and not to mention the pacing of multiplayer is both laid back and pure tense action. Get it, love it, and just enjoy the sin out of it.
