It's a little bit weird getting adjusted to the sprites for me since they look like toys, but overall the game is fun, I love you can tell the shift DOOM 64 had more towards horror with its soundtrack and effects and just whole atmosphere, pretty perfect lead into DOOM 3

oh and 64 is also canon now because of Eternal, thanks DOOM Eternal love you <3

Even for a DOOM game I appreciate what this game tried to do, as a horror game it is a pretty good experience and does spike my anxiety whenever I play this, the story is fine too I enjoy the fact that the only reason the doom guy is on mars is disobeying orders, pretty sure its the same for og doom also

Its also funny that this game at the time of release had the most story in it considering John Carmak's famous quote about story in video games lol...

The game also gives me a lot of Half-Life 1 and 2 vibes, like its similar to a funny extend, thanks Valve for breaking the trend of games not having a good story or a story at all back then

Why's my mans so chopped, its like they forgot this early concept design's whole idea was to look like sonic but they gave him the knuckles hair style, modders did it better for 2011 generations

I love being the silly aussie (Sydney) to annoy my frens :3.... except when the game crashes :D (no "fixes" others have given me worked for me at all)

I don't get the hate, this game has potential to become so much more and I can sense it after playing both this and Payday 2, at the time this is more fun because Payday 2 keeps crashing no matter what fixes I find or others suggest to me.

PLEASE LET SKILLS 2.0 BE GOOD


I like the feel of the game, I like what plot its trying to have, I do wish it will implement some stuff that made Payday 2 great sooner tho also but I am happy with this.

Last time I played this game I feel asleep face first on my keyboard at the crab avatar level. (I'm not even joking)

Now that I've replayed it again from start to finish... My opinion has changed of it!... Its even worse than I remembered.

The art direction is bland. The story is too afraid to step out of its comfort zone when it set out for itself to be a serious story yet again. Failed horribly. Game play is nearly nonexistent. It plays itself for you majority of the time.

Never buy this game at full price if you are going to even buy it, wait for a sale, but even then this game is still the greatest scam in Sonic History and of 2017 alone.

Important side note: Never touch episode Shadow since it will overwrite your main save file and you will lose all your progress.
Important side note 2: Apparently the game save file would just.. Not? Every time I closed the game and reopened it the game lost all the progress I had made and only new game option was available. I had to go out of my way and get a MOD to fix this issue

For the short experience that this is, its a really terrifying game, I love how the horror is subtle at first and it just picks up near the end, I flinched at some of the key points in this game
