No Man’s Sky really turned into a solid exploration game over time. The universe stretches out so vast. Planets come with their own quirks. You always stumble on fresh discoveries out there. Updates across the years piled on base building features. They improved the ships quite a bit. Story elements got fleshed out more. Multiplayer options showed up eventually. Quality of life tweaks filled in the gaps too.

Starting out, it feels a touch grindy sometimes. But after it clicks, the whole thing turns relaxing. Fun creeps in naturally. It impresses in real ways. If exploring vast areas appeals to you, along with upgrading gear and setting personal targets, then this game deserves your time.
