Great game with endless hours of content. A vast open world with great lore and intense combat challenges, as well as, cool game modes / clans / active twitch community. Also good to play as sort of a side game as there are many activities that are semi-afk that allow you to multi-task fairly easily. I'd recommend everyone at least give it a shot, the steam client is being constantly improved, and there's another free client (runelite) that you can use which also has some neat built in features (all approved by Jagex, the game's creators/developers).

There's also a mobile app for IOS/Android so you can play while watching tv/waiting around/etc.

Like I said above, definitely recommend everyone give it a shot, the members content is a subscription model but imo it's well worth it, and even if you don't want to sub, the f2p worlds still have a great amount of content to give you a sample of the entire game.

Great gameplay and definitely fun to play.

However the old customization in the multiplayer has been replaced by the cash shop that will force you to spend some serious $$$ if you want to do any sort of customization. The xp required to progress between ranks is insane compared to how much you get from each match.

It sucks because I want to love it, however the oversaturation of microtransactions for something that has always been a core part of the halo multiplayer experience (customization) really takes away a lot of the enjoyment of grinding for hours on end for unlocks.

I can't recommend it due to the amount of content that's locked behind a paywall. I'd rather spend $60 for a game and have everything be unlocked via challenges, then have it be free and have to pay thousands if I want to try and collect everything.

This game is fantastic I've just started playing and it's very addicting and exciting, can't wait to play more!
