The first Everhood did leave a stronger impression on me that this did but it's still undoubtedly a great game that I had a lot of fun with and would highly recommend.
The writing and characters are still wacky and funny, there were some good memorable bit here and there, however nothing will top hold hands with Rasta Beast from the first one, which I didn't expect to happen anyway. The fights/gameplay is great, there are some really hype and good beats throughout.
It starts off a bit slow in the first hours, and with the more "RPG" style set up I did find a few of the early stages repeat battles were a bit annoying, but it doesn't stop you from just going ahead. The game does make it clear pretty early on they don't want you to grind and waste your time.
Excited to see what people end up doing with the level editor and workshop.
It never ends in everhood

Finally got around to playing and beating Sekiro (took me 60 hours) after many many recommendations and yeah people ain't lying its great.
In comparison to other from software games (dark souls, bloodborne, elden ring) it feels way more streamlined. You're a specific character with specific relationships and a voice making the story feel more involved and purposeful. Movement is faster, more fluid and feel way less clunky, and never janky, in comparison to the other games.
The map feels way more direct, linear even, and gotta clarify here, that's not a bad thing, game is already 60 hours. Yet there are still plenty of paths off the beaten road to look after, and they ain't always obvious! You might still need to google things for this one.

I really enjoyed this game. I have not been able to shake the feeling this story has left me with for days after finishing it. While the game play and puzzle solving can be a bit clunky at times, the art and story carries the experiences throughout.

A game about 'being a teenage girl growing up' may come off as very simple. However, Meredith Gran's visualisation and writing really shows the passion in this game that makes the whole game so memorable.

It depicts what growing up in the 2000s was like in a BRUTALLY honest manner (normalised use of slurs and all). It manages to both show how the main character, an anxious mess, is set up to fail by social norms and set herself up to fail in how she looks too much into this.
It a very transparent delivery that could only be made through some difficult and mature self-reflection. This game really shows its whole heart.

Highly recommend Perfect Tides! Especially if you experienced growing up in the 2000s (bonus if you are from a small town and an anxious mess too).
I'm looking forward to the squeal!

Great fun and silly. I had a lot of good laughs with the silly gun fights and barely existing plot. This is a game that just throws you into a situation for no reason, as a silly goose blasting guns. Incredible. It is a short game but offers a fun post-game map, and new game plus (which leads to something I haven't seen yet).

great co-op experience, short and good. has creative method to make each player see something different, which also gives the game some 'replayability' as you get to swap swap seats ones before having seen it all.
