Crawl is one of the best local multiplayer games I've played. Simple and intuitive mechanics make up for the lack of information about each weapon, boss, and monster. Unlockables encourage replayability, but different scenery/trap themes would make the game more colorful and make it feel less like you're on the same floor over and over. The deity concept is brilliant to select 3 monsters from an array of summoners, brawlers, archers, and everywhere in between.

The only request I have for further development is more information about the gameplay, the monsters, and their abilities. I'd rather have a little idea about the monster choices before upgrading to one branch or the other.

Guns? Check!
Time Travel? Check!
Explosions and Lightning Storms? Double Check!
Broken friendships? Triple Check!
Spells? Check the hell out of that!

If you ever get bored of killing your enemies, you can kill your friends!

If you ever get bored of killing your friends, there are plenty of bad guys (and innocent villagers) that are perfect targets!
