♥♥♥♥ the pvp of this game. It is unbalanced af. Other than that the game gets stale quick. Also I hate that they force sailing to progress the main story. The game looks ♥♥♥♥ when you are on the sea and it is ultra boring. Why not have a portal or something to teleport to other islands instead of having to cross the whole continent first. Overall the game is fun at first but then you realize that the fun will be over quick.

If you are a casual gamer stay away. This is no heartstone. The default card sets the game gives you are useless. After I reached Silver the following kept happening. After my first turn the other guy just kept casting spells and summoning monster giving me no chance to even go to my second turn. It was not even close. Pure destruction. The only fun thing about this game is winning a match because the japanese players have trash connection. Not to forget tha pace of the duels is slower than a car without any wheels. It is simply not fun. Only hardcore yugioh players might enjoy this.

There are two types of people. The ones who have previously played a kingdom rush game on their browser and the ones who haven't. For those who haven't, they still have time before adobe flash gets discontinued thus making the free version unavailable. This review will focus on If you should buy the steam version of this game for those who have already beaten it and for those who have not.
To begin with, Kingdom Rush Frontiers is the sequel to the very popular kingdom rush(2011) and is regarded as the best one so far. It was released as a flash game for you browser(with some heroes you had to pay to get). Later it also got released for android and ios for around 2-3$ If I am not mistaken, with some extra stages.
Now as for the steam release you get the whole package. To be more exact: there are more heroes and they are all free. The extra stages are free but you have to unlock them. Moreover, you get a full hd overhall to the game with some extra artwork. Furthermore, the achievement system is implemented in steam. In conclusion you can call this version of the game as a remaster or a definitive edition.
Positives of the game:
1) Good and straight forward gameplay
2) Simple and easy to learn mechanics
3) Good soundtrack with a lot of memorable tracks
4) Many difficulties
5) Sky high replayability

Having said all the above two questions remain:
1) Is the game worth for its higher than before price?
2) Is it worth for me who have already beaten the game before?
Here are my answers:
1) It depends to how much time can you get out of this game. For me I can spend many happy hours playing the game on different difficulties, striving to get all the achievements, replaying the game with different heroes etc. The main campaign is a short one but with the extra stages and the difficulty they poses the play time does increase. I estimate a new player to the series can for sure get 15 hours before they get bored of it.
The only question is If they will come back to this game which is a yes for me. It may take some time to regain interest to this game but once you pick it up again it will be hard to let it go before beating it again.
To add on, the replayability is high because it is an easy to learn hard to master type of games. On the other hand, many gamers prefer a more casual experience which it can deliver. While playing it I often listen to some music at the same time (Don't get me wrong the soundtrack is very good) or a youtube video or series on the background. All in all it depends to you but compering this to the other 60$ ♥♥♥♥ games this a good buy for sure!
2) If you want to replay the game due to nostalgia and want to master it or plan to play it for time to time then buy it. I recommend tho to wait of a discount. I was also very hesitant to buy it at first. But once I had beaten Kingdom Rush Origins I had no other choice. I had to wait for a discount and once it came I bought it because of my thirst for more Kingdom Rush. This was a choice I will never regret.
