Painfully overrated but decent. Only giving it a thumbs down because the texture render distance is the worst I’ve seen in any game I’ve ever played in my life. 10 meters away from the player character, all textures pop into their low res versions and it looks like smeared dirt. There is no fix

Loads of fun, can be played solo or with 2 other friends and they have plenty of extra content coming to the game over the next few months free of charge. The game is fairly short, but what is there delivers.

Only get the more expensive options if the cosmetics appeal to you. Otherwise, there's enough goodies you can unlock just by playing

It doesn't work to this day. I have no idea why. Don't make the mistake of buying this and install mods instead. Classic EA screwing over the consumer

If you like history total wars, this game is really solid. At launch, it was definitely a bit messy and the price was too high, but now those issues are gone.
They are giving away free expansions with the latest being a map size increase and for the most part, I'm having fun. It uses a lot of the systems from total war Troy but without the mystical stuff for a more realistic approach. Some see this as a bad thing but conveniently forgive the same thing when it's another title. Attila and Rome 2 are similar and they do have their own twists on how both games work like pharaoh and Troy, but you don't see the same amount of hate that pharaoh gets.

Most of the hate feels more like frustration about it not being Medieval 2 or Rome 3 or whatever else people wanted. There's still some good points as to why people don't like it, but if you don't care about the drama and only if the game is good or not, it's a good entry if you ask me

This is what I wanted, split screen. I haven't had any bugs or issues with multiplayer, but I'm sure I'm just lucky

Utterly amazing. The devs goes above and beyond. One of those rare games where I'd say it's worth buying no matter the price

I wrote an angry review because my game was full of bugs. All the bugs vanished when I moved the game files to an SSD.
For the love of god, don't play this game on your HDD. Made the game go from a 3/10 to an 8.5/10 for me.

Had fun with the game, but wait until the servers are working before buying
