The game has so much potential. Very creative and lots of fun can be had with the atmosphere, voice chat, gunplay, aliens, it's all good. The bad mainly comes from balancing issues which aren't easy to address and cheaters. Now I personally have only ran into a cheater twice in 50+ hours but that being said they still exist and are running kind of rampant right now. I still love the game and encourage others to support it.

The indie game community is making strives where Triple-A just isn't right now. Updates for this game aren't the fastest but when they are released they are hefty. To no surprise, you need to be okay with the reality of dying and losing progress or restarting. It's a sandbox open world survival game with very in depth elements. The one major blaring issue with this game is longevity or late game. Early to mid-game is amazing with many tasks to keep yourself occupied with trying to survive. By month two though, typically you have reached sustainability. The most engaging part of this game, the hardcore realistic survival, fades away as survival no longer becomes difficult and scavenging to survive is trivial. That being said, I still highly recommend this game to any survival/zombie genre enthusiasts. The pros heavily outweigh the cons to most not to mention you're not getting shafted from the developers of a studio who don't care about you. The base game offers expansive features and is wonderful, but the outstanding modding community turns this game from an 8/10 to a massive 11/10. If the game even slightly interests you I would definitely purchase it. One of the few games I'm very proud to say I'm skilled at.

I've never seen a game so easily capture the emotion of true fear and complete idiocy at the same time like this one. The game pushes to become a multiplayer horror genre but fails tremendously three fourths of the time. The game has many flaws and glitches with lots of performance issues. This gem does not lay in the game however, but within the community itself. I've never seen a game push people to their limits so quickly that they act on basic instinct to survive this endless nightmare. You will not be shown mercy or remorse, trust no one. Remember, never turn down an opportunity to backstab someone else, wait too long and you'll be on the receiving edge of that blade.
