I was having breakdown after breakdown, chest pains, heart cramps, panic attacks. I was anxious, I was afraid.
I would not stop crying, I was lost.
I was in chains.

And yet he held my hand through it. As I was at my worst.
He'd sit with me in voice chat, while I'd be muted and crying, and would tell me I'm strong, that I can overcome it, that I'm brave, that he believes in me, that I matter...that I can push through it like he has.

I believed him. I took his hand, I held it close, and he pulled me to my feet. He caught me in the warmest embrace. He gazed down into my eyes, he scared the demons away.
His lips warmed mine. His thumb grazed my cheek.
He reignited my cold, shattered heart.
He helped it mend.
Made me whole.
