(I played this only with people and to me thats how the game is meant to be played.

Hold Out Is a zombie survival game and I have the privilege of playing it with two of my friends. Go at it alone or with fellow survivors. It doesn’t matter how you choose to play as long as you have a good head on your shoulders there is no doubt you can Hold Out.

Would I recommend this game as it stands right now? YES

Is this going to blow your mind away with the amount of content, YES and No…

Although there is a bit of content, keep in mind that this game is still in early development and there is still room for improvement. Though what I saw was fun.

Does thou even RTX Bro? No

There isn’t RTX this time around but I have to say, the graphics are actually really well done. The graphics could be compared to a mid to late 2000s (like the First Left 4 Dead game, Pay Day.) I like them alot. This gets a A+

Does It Server? Sort of?

You can host your own lobby but I don’t know if there are dedicated servers? I am not sure.

Graphics: A
The actual textures are awesome and I do really really like the atmosphere and the way everything looks. My only real gripe, if you will, is that there isn’t enough lighting. Without the flashlight it was near impossible to see what I was doing. Even when zombie’s were right up my nose they would block the flashlight and cause extremely limited visibility.

Gameplay: B-A (iron sites really disappoint me)
The actual gameplay is pretty solid. The only thing I found (this could be me) but there were times when I would get stuck on my fellow players and not be able to move, which in a survival horror, zombie game, is a big no no.
The Iron Sights were absolutely unusable. (except deagle) Good thing you don’t need Iron sights you can manage by hip firing and using the laser sight.

Controls: ? C-B (because of the purchase bug)
Controls were a little different but nothing I haven’t seen before.
Bugs?
The only real bug I found was sometimes when I bought something, It would charge me twice because the actual purchase button doesn’t always work. It's very delicate and you need to move your character until you find the sweet spot. (Make sure to look down at the object you are trying to purchase)

All In all I’d give this game a solid 7.5 out of 10. Can’t wait to see what else is in store for Hold Out.

Hey I just want to say that I did enjoy the game; however, there are a few things you should be aware of. For reference I only played about a half hour.

Pros:
Graphics- The graphics in this game are spot on and one of things that drew me to initially buy the game
Gameplay Clues- There are not an overabundance of them but the ones that were there "pointed" me in the right direction
Speach- dialogue was actually funny, mainly due to miss-spellings

Cons:
Combat- The hit-boxes of most NPC enemies seem very off. When I tried executing a power move I would 9/10 miss. I don't particularly like the specific control combinations to perform moves. I would rather either have them assigned to number keys or let you set them yourself in settings.

Flow Or Direction- Most of the time I played the game I was running around without a clear task to complete. I only managed to figure out what to do after going to the middle of the map near the Statue. I wish there was some marker or some sort of quest log like skyrim in order to figure out where I needed to be going. (That may be just my preference)

Music- There should be a larger variety of music or a have the music set louder. It is extremely boring running around for 10 minutes without music of any kind. (this may be fixed in future updates.)


In Conclusion:

This is a decent game and moderately fun to play. The graphics and inspiration is actually one of the better parts of the game. Combat is iffy at best and one would be better off spamming the regular attack button and ignoring the special moves until hit-boxes or player animations are fixed. I would say you can play the game now. The game is only on its .14 update so it has a long way to go. I am sure with time this game will feel smoother than it is now. Play this game but know that there is still a long way to go.

I had such a good time playing this game. This game can keep you interest for a half hour. Would I play this more than an hour though? Probably not. This is alot cheaper than a therapist and much more effective.
10/10 Would recommend!

I loved this game. I have been playing this game for a while and love the game. It is a little strange with the lack of aim so to speak, but still all around a decent game. Check out gameplay here!

Updated: Hey I do like this game and found it to be very good!

Before they added the update I thought this game was horrible. After the update was added I could not be more wrong.
This game is awesome.

The best part about this game is the graphics/music elements.

Pros:
-Every time I loaded up the game I was greeted with a fast paced upbeat song.
-Mechanics are now worked out
-Graphics are simple yet clean
-game is easy
-mechanics are easy to understand

Cons:
-Needs more levels
-Needs more levels
-Not enough content in order to feel like a whole PC game. This feels like an android game. It is still a good android game but I am missing some content that could have made me play this game longer.

I have not played all of it but what I got from the game was portal 2. It was just like portal 2 except without the portals. It had the same push and pull mechanic that we saw in portal 2. Would I play this game again? Probably not. Is this game worth giving a chance and might actually be more fun if you play longer than I did? yes. Would a multiplayer be even better? HELL YEAH. Am I patiently waiting for a multiplayer. Yep.
